Book either our Food cum Heritage Walking Tour or our Cooking Class. We offer you to do both also. Price shown is for one experience. What we do:

1. Food and Heritage Walking Tour. Our 4- hour guided tour covers main heritage attractions of Georgetown, UNESCO World Heritage Site visiting main attractions such as its historic clan houses, water village, temples and mosques, popular street-art. Price you pay is inclusive of food and drinks at several food stopovers such as street-stalls, cafes and restaurants, the best of Penang’s most popular food in a local setting. Starts 10am.

2.Cooking Class Penang Street Food. This is our popular hands on 4-hour class for you to learn Penang’s famous street food, a 6-dishes package which last 3 hours. Guest will learn a mix-culture Malay, Chinese and Indian dishes. Starts 3 pm.

3. You can book both of the above experiences on two different dates during your stay in Penang. Book these separately in the system. Inform us you are doing both.

Our walking food cum heritage at an easy pace tour lasts for 4-5 hours. We will stopover at popular street stalls and little eateries to try Georgetown’s famous dishes and delicacies such as Nasi Lemak, Penang Laksa, Roti Canai and Nyonya cakes as well as a famous dessert known as Cendul. We will visit all main attractions of Georgetown’s World Heritage Site both Core and Buffet Zones. Places visited include places of worship included a inside tour of Kapitan Keling Mosque, St George’s Church and Temple of Goddess of Mercy, a clan houses including a paid tour of famous Khoo Kongsi, many heritage government buildings in the business district such as the Old City Hall, the High Court, Commercial Banks housed in stately heritage buildings, a heritage water village, the Chew Jetty and locate famous street-art along our way. Our walkabout covers visits to some of the old city’s oldest Living Heritage Tradesman such as Joss Stick Maker, Songkok (Malay hat) Maker, Chinese sign craftsman, Indian Gold Smith, a Malay perfumery, Indian Spice Tradesman. our hosting spirit will not stop we have covered the best Georgetown has to offer to its visitors and thereby ensure our guests gets the full experince plus adventure in this food cum heritage walk.
