Cavern Diving in a Cenote
Cenotes are sinkholes that give access to the longest underwater cave system in the wordl! They are placed in the jungle of Yucatan peninsula, Mexico. Crystal clear water invites to snorkel and dive. Beautiful dripstone formations and amazing natural light effects make it a lifetime experience!
Cavern diving can be done by every Open Water Diver who has a proper buoyancy control. Though you will need a guide that has to be at least divemaster and full cave certified. Then you can explore the underground to a distance of maximum 30m to the entrance. These passages are all marked with permanent lines and have mostly access to natural light.
