Diving in Pet Cemetery and Tajma Ha Cenotes from Playa del Carmen

The Mexican peninsula of Yucatan is known for the longest underwater cave system in the world with more than 6,000 cenotes.

Enjoy amazing underwater world with 2 dives in Pet Cemetery and Tajma Ha cenotes.

This magnificent cenote owes its name to a wide variety of animal skeletons found. The stalactites and white stalagmites brittle in crystal clear water form a mirror effect with lots of light! There is a beautiful contrast between natural light and darkness. There are refined formations, animal bones and blind fish.

The Tajma Ha cenote is known for the sunlight shining through the cave ceiling. This cenote has a large number of stalactites and stalagmites. There are incredible plays of light and shell fossils. This cenote resembles a huge palace with many rooms and corridors of limestone and speleothems. There is also a dense halocline.
