We will travel to Chiapa de Corzo, one hour from San Cristobal de Las Casas. This small town is known and visited all year round because of the Sumidero Canyon, but our visit will take place during its biggest and most spectacular festival: La Fiesta Grande de Chiapa de Corzo, designated Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO since 2009.

The experience is more than visual: it becomes unforgettable because of Rudy’s explanations about the roots of customs and legends that you will hear. Thanks to that, you will see it from another perspective. It's not just a parade or a mask: there is a lot of tradition, culture and and faith behind it!
In addition, you will have the opportunity to try traditional food, visit local families, talk to them and share the joy of the party.

Stop At: Chiapa de Corzo, Tuxtla Gutierrez Mexico

We will watch the parade od Parachicos and Chiapanecas o we will get in the middle of it if we wish! We will visit locas families, talk to the locals and try tipical food.
