Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl National Park, Mexico

After a pick-up from your accommodation, enjoy a picturesque drive through picturesque Valley of Mexico before reaching el Paso de Cortés - a mountain pass between the Popocatépetl and Ixtaccíhuatl volcanoes situated on the altitude of 3400m, and, finally, La Joya -  high mountain hut at an elevation of 3.977 m  above the sea level that is connected by one of the highest mountain roads of the country. This is a starting point for our 4h hike towards snow line of the volcano along an intermediate-level trail that both novices and those with more hiking experience will enjoy. Depending on available time, weather & your physical condition we will ascend till 4,200-4,800 meters, that will provide us with great views of snowcapped peaks and glaciers, pictures Valley of Mexico, and, of course, smoking peak of a nearby Popocatepetl Volcano. Take your time for making memorable pictures and enjoying the tranquility and severe beauty of this mountainous place. Once ready, we will descent and go to a nearby town of  Amecameca to explore its pretty historic center and try some of its best food specialties - e.g. rabbit mixiotes, barbacoa, and pulque. After a joyful tasting of local food and drinks, return to your vehicle and relax on your way back to Mexico City.
