We will be att the differents the Palenques in the region , where you can undestand more about Mezcal. Made from more than 30 types of agave (tequila is only made from one—blue agave) and cooked in a covered underground pit that gives it that smoky flavor, mezcal is a high-proof spirit that deserves to be savored.You are in the right place to taste it!

We will start our Oaxaca mezcal tour by heading south out of the city to Santa Catarina Minas - a little village of 1500 people but with mezcal distilleries. This town is known for their great mezcal, and the differents wild varities that they have in their fields.
