Ruta Pericu
Come with me to discover the other side of cabo, far from the tourist crowd; on a historical pilgrimage to the roots of los cabos native people the Pericu.
We´ll visit a small 17th century town deep in the mountain ridge of los cabos, where time doesn´t seems to go by.
Visit a local ranch and mingle with the local ranchero californio; now considered the native of this part of the baja peninsula. Enjoy a taste of the local TALEGA coffee and MISSIONARY bread, both recipies tought to the native Pericu by the Jesuits.
Our hike starts at the skirts of the mountains within the boundries of the national reserve Sierra de la Laguna where we´ll hike though its canyons and riverbeds on an easy to intermediate hike (depending on travelers physical condition) All along the way we´ll have the chance to talk about the beautys of the endemic flora and fauna of this semitropical desert.
Ending up with the chance of soaking in one of its many water holes before heading back to cabo.
