Sea Turtle Watch - Reproduction time-

Six of the seven species of sea turtles are listed as threatened or endangered. Two of these species, the loggerhead and green turtle,  nest on the beaches from Quintana Roo.

With this Small group tour ( maximum 10 travelers) you can experience one of the most amazing events of nature. Join us on our mission to help the baby turtles survive their trek from the nest to the sea, and ensure that the next generation of beautiful sea turtles is strong and healthy.

Each year thousands of turtles come to the beach and carefully choose a place in the sand where they lay their eggs. This is an event where they test their strength, patience and courage, because for hours they lay their eggs, then cover them carefully and make their way back to the sea.  

Approximately 60 days later the baby turtles are born and if you are lucky you will observe turtles hatchling and fight their way into the ocean.
