Sterling Silver Earring Workshop

I have designed all of my classes to be about 4 hours long, and I use basic tools that are accessible and affordable so that my students can easily take this new skill home and continue creating. This is a great way to get started with making jewelry without a huge financial or time commitment, and because it is just a one day, four hour class it easily fits in to your day between sightseeing. At the end fo the class you have a lovely new piece of jewelry to wear out and a great souvenir to take back home from your trip to San Miguel.

Itinerary

You will start at our workshop space in the Arts District of San Miguel, Colonia Guadalupe. This is a short, flat walk from the Jardin. You'll enjoy light refreshments while we chat a little for me to learn more about you and the style of jewelry you would like to make.

You will learn how to work with Sterling Silver using basic hand tools to make your first pair of earrings, and then you will design your own earrings using whatever elements you would like that we have available-sterling silver & other types of metal, beads, gems, etc. And I will help you make your vision come to life. I also have several examples of earrings past students have made to help get you started.

At the end of this class you will be able to use these skills to make all kinds of beautiful jewelry.
