On this tour we will take you snorkeling out in the open sea where you will be able to swim alongside these incredible creatures in the crystal clear water and see them up close in their natural habitat.

The largest ever concentration of whale sharks was recorded here, right of the Yucatan coast off Cancun where over 400 of them gathered to feed! The beautiful and gentle whale shark is an enormous filter-feeding shark that feeds mainly on plankton and small fish. They measure up to 12 meters (40ft) in length and weight up to 20 tons (40,000 lbs) and live to be up to 70 years old!

Despite their size the whale sharks pose no threat to us and the younger ones are quite playful, it’s truly an awe-inspiring sight to see! After swimming with the whale sharks we will make a stop off the coast of Isla Mujeres on the way back to relax for a bit at the beach and have a light lunch.
