Looking for a thrilling lifetime adventure? Let’s slide on the frozen land of Mongolia for a unique winter experience. On our dog sled tour you will be exploring Mongolian nature, nomadic way of life and observe the wild fauna and flora of Terelj and Khan -Khentii National Parks. Guided by professional mushers, for beginners, adventure seekers or winter lovers, come and enjoy the peace and the fascinating atmosphere of Mongolia!

Itinerary

Day 1: Terelj National park

Stop At: Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Ulaanbaatar- Terelj national park 80km
• This symbolic landmark known as the Zaisan Hill Memorial was erected by the Russians for the honor of unknown soviet soldiers deceased during World War II. A long stretch of almost 300 stairs will take you to the top of the Memorial with the full view of the city.
• Continue with the journey to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, a place of granite formations created by natural erosions, slopes covered with pine and larch, fields shattered with colorful wild flowers, pristine rivers and lake.
• Lunch with a local family
• Short stop at one of the highlights of the park, Turtle shaped rock and hiking to the Aryapalo Meditation Center.

Day 2: Sledding Day and Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex

Stop At: Genghis Khan Statue Complex, Tsonjin Boldog, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Terelj National Park - Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex 85km.
You will have 5-6kms dog sledding today, with a stop for picnic lunch. You will speed and lead your very own sled dogs along the Terelj River, passing through the valleys and forest of the park. Driving to the Giant Statue of Chinggis Khaan towering with 40ms height on the bank of Tuul River facing symbolically its birthplace, the direction of East. As the legend says, great king found a golden whip, which for nomads meant symbol of immense fortune and victory. Drive to a Kazakh nomad family. Today you will have another new experience with Kazakh people who are minority Muslim community well-known for their culture of training eagles for hunting.

Day 3: Manzushir Monastery Ulaanbaatar

Stop At: Manzushir Monastery, Bayanzurkh, Mongolia
Kazakh family –Ulaanbaatar 95km
Manzushri Monastery ruins located on the forest covered slopes of Bogd Khaan Mountain range, is a great spot for hiking. Once home of over 300 monks, monastery had about 20 temples and was actively operating until its destruction in 1937. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to your accommodation.
