We will then take you to the symbolic ruins of Chinggis Khaan's capital city the Karakorum and visit the largest Erdene Zuu monastery.

Itinerary

Day 1: Terelj National Park and visit Chinggis Khaan statue

Stop At: Genghis Khan Statue Complex, Tsonjin Boldog, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
After meeting in Ulaanbaatar, drive to Giant Chinggis Khaan statue. The statues in total are 40m high and see as far-sighted Chinggis Khaan holds a golden whip in his right hand.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Tour to Terelj National park. You'll explore the extraordinary formation of rocks and stones; some of them look quite similar to a turtle.

The Terelj National Park incorporates parts of the Khentii Mountain Range.

Day 2: See Takhi, the Asian wild horse

Stop At: Hustai National Park, Ulaanbaatar 13 Mongolia
Early morning drive to Hustai National Park and see Takhi, the Asian wild horse.

If you have a chance, see

a wolf,

argali sheep

and deer.

Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife.

Visit Takhi's small museum.

Day 3: Erdenezuu and Karakorum

Stop At: Erdene Zuu Monastery, Kharkhorin 62090 Mongolia
After breakfast at the tourist camp, drive to the Karakorum, the symbolic ruins of the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit Erdene-Zuu, the oldest monastery, with 108 stupas, built in 1586.

Stop At: Kharakhorum Museum, Khushuu Tsaidam Rd, Kharkhorin 62090 Mongolia
Visit Karakorum museum and see the Great Mongol state period, Stone Age, Bronze Age, Ancient state period halls.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 4: Ugii Lake

Stop At: Ugii nuur, Ugiinuur Rd, Зэгстэй, Mongolia
After breakfast, drive to Ugii Lake (altitude 1387 m; surface area—25 sq. km). When you visit the lake, you will have an opportunity to take a boat tour and do some birding.
Duration: 8 hours

Stop At: Gokhturk Museum at Khoshoo Tsaidam, Ugiinuur, Mongolia
On the way, you will see Khusuu Tsaidam, a Turkic inscribed monument of the Turkic State (6th – 8th Centuries A.D).
Duration: 2 hours

Day 5: Elsen tasarkhai and camel ride trial

Stop At: Elsen Tasarkhai (Sand Dune Mini Gobi), Rashaant, Mongolia
Up early morning, drive to Elsen Tasarkhai unique area of forest and sand dunes.

After lunch in tourist camp, there is an opportunity for a camel ride trial through the sand dunes.

We will visit a local nomad family where you have an opportunity to experience their way of life, their culture and traditions.

Day 6: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar
