This tour is for people who want to see all the important landmarks of Central Mongolia in a relaxed phase, allowing travellers to enjoy each and every experience of Mongolia in depth. Nomadic show, spotting the last of the world’s wild horses, visiting the beautiful Terelj National park, staying with local nomads and experiencing their lifestyle, visiting the 13th century theme park, climb on top of the largest equestrian monument in the world will all be part of an unforgettable experience you will get

Itinerary

Day 1: Mongol Nomadic show, Khustai national park

Stop At: Hustai National Park, Hustai National Park, Tov Province
In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up and begin the journey. Our first stop will be the Mongol Nomadic. Mongol Nomadic gives a 2 hours show that introduces and demonstrates the everyday nomadic lifestyle starting from how nomads disassemble/assemble their gers, load on their ox, camel cart and move to places looking for better grazing grounds for their livestock, the making of dried curd, yogurt and felt. Have traditional lunch after the show.

After a short break we will continue driving to the next destination Khustai National park. Khustai NP became a protected area in 1993 due to the initiation of the reintroduction project of the Takhi or the Przewalski’s horses into Khustain Mountain range. Besides being the safe haven for the Przewalski’s horses the park is home to 459 species of vascular plants, 85 species of lichens, 90 species of moss and 33 species of mushrooms. 44 species of mammals have been recorded, including Red deer, Mongolian gazelle, Roe deer, Wild boar, Wild sheep, Ibex, Mongolian marmots, Grey wolves. We will drive through the park, so grab binoculars and try to spot the wild creatures in their natural habitat. Dinner and stay overnight at the ger camp.

Day 2: Drive to Terelj national park. Turtle rock, Aryabal meditation center

Stop At: Gorkhi Terelj National Park, Gorkhi Terelj National Park, Tov Province
From Khustai, drive to Terelj national park. Upon reaching Terelj we will have lunch and settle at our camp. Terelj National park is known for its beautiful scenery, unique rock formations one of which is the Turtle rock that we will visit. Furthermore, we will take a small hike to the Aryabal meditation temple located on a mountainside and offers breathtaking view of the park. Visit the local nomadic family, go for a horse ride. Come back to camp for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Chinggis Khan Monument, 13th century, Ulaanbaatar

Stop At: Genghis Khan Statue Complex, Tsonjin Boldog, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
On this day we will visit the Chinggis Khan statue complex, the world’s tallest horseman monument . We will go inside to take some memorable photos; see the Guinness world record holding giant Mongolian boot and horsewhip. Visit the mini historical museum, get on the elevator to get on the horse’s saddle and take close-up selfies with Chinggis Khan and observe the surrounding view. Afterwards we will take the dirt road to visit the 13th century complex. There are 6 different camps all 1km apart. Each camp tries to show the unique lifestyle of Mongolia starting with the

Day 4: Back to Ulaanbaatar

Stop At: Ulaanbaatar, Ulaanbaatar
This day we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar city. On our way back we will stop by the Zaisan hill to have a panoramic view of the city, also to commemorate the Mongolian and Soviet soldiers who took part in the Second World War. Drive back to hotel and rest.

In the evening the guide and driver will pick you up to watch the show Tumen-Ekh. Show starts at 6pm, be at the show at 5:15pm. After the show, drop off at the hotel and rest.
