Itinerary

Day 1: Elsen tasarkhai

Stop At: Elsen Tasarkhai (Sand Dune Mini Gobi), Rashaant, Mongolia
Journey to Elsen tasarkhai. It is semi-desert steppes, impressive rock formations, sand dunes of 80 kilometers. Walk to the Erdene Khambiin monastery. The Monastery dates back to the 17th century and was built on the mountain.

Day 2: Orkhon valley

Stop At: Orkhon Valley, Mongolia
The trip to Orkhon Valley and the valley is a land of nomadism and many breeders establish their summer camp there.

Visit the Ulan Tsutgalan waterfalls. These 16 meter (52.49 ft) waterfalls are simply magical. They were formed 20,000 years ago, as a result of a unique combination of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Day 3: Naiman nuur

Stop At: Orkhon Waterfall, Orkhon River Valley, Bat Ulzii Mongolia
Horse ride to the entrance of the Naiman Nuur National Park. We will continue our way through the steppes, then we will go through the forests of larches and pines.

A night in a small yurt camp at the gates of the Naiman Nuur National Park.

Day 4: Naiman nuur

Stop At: Orkhon Valley Natural and Historical Reserve, Kharkhorin, Mongolia
We hike through the Khangai Valley. We crossed an area full of trees, climbed towards the pass of Khangai Nuruu, then descended towards Lake Tsagaan Azarga. We climb towards the gorges of the Khokh Davaanii River, then we arrive at the Naiman Nuur National Park. First, we visited Lake Shanaga.

Day 5: Naiman nuur

Stop At: Orkhon Valley, Mongolia
Visit the several lakes in the area: Bugat, Khaya, Doroo, Khaliut lakes and then Lake Shireet. We walked along the Shireet hill and visited the Shurangiin Tsokhoi stone.

Day 6: Tsenkher Hot Spring

Stop At: Tsenkher Hot Spring, Tsenkher, Tsetserleg 65190 Mongolia
Arrival at Tsenkher hot springs, where you can lounge in the hot springs of the camp.

Day 7: Kharkhorin-Erdene Zuu

Stop At: Erdene Zuu Monastery, Kharkhorin 62090 Mongolia
Journey to Kharkhorin, the former capital of Mongolia. The legendary city of Genghis Khan was founded in 1220 and was one of the stages of the silk road. The Mongolian Empire was governed from this city, until Kubilai Khan set up the capital in Beijing. Today, there are only a few vestiges left of the former capital.Visit of Erdene Zuu Monastery, built in 1586 by a nomad prince. The Chinese and Tibetan-inspired buildings are surrounded with 108 sacred stupas. Visit of the Museum of Kharkhorin.

Day 8: Terelj National Park

Stop At: Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Gorkhi - Terelj National Park located 55 kilometers east of Ulan Bator, in the strictly protected area of Khentii.

Many rock formations sculpted by erosion will delight climbers. Near the park entrance, we can see many rock formations, particularly the turtle rock, "melkhi khad", a striking 24-meter (78.74 ft) tall rock formation reminiscent of a turtle. Aryaval Monastery It is located within the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, about 10 kilometers (6.21 miles) from the entrance. From the turtle rock, we will make a nice walk

Day 9: Ulaanbaatar

Stop At: Ulaanbaatar Department Store, Peace Avenue-57 Sukhbaatar district, Ulaanbaatar 14250 Mongolia
Back to Ulan-Bator. Arrival to the city and accommodation at your hotel. The rest of the day free. With our guide, you can go shopping in the center of the city.
