Itinerary

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar

Stop At: Ulaanbaatar City Museum, Peace Avenue, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar, we will go check in at your reserved Hotel and go for a city tour where we will see the most monumental places of the city such as the golden statue of Gandan and the Mongolian History Museum. In the evening we will watch a famous Mongolian culture concert.

Day 2: Terelj National Park

Stop At: Genghis Khan Statue Complex, Tsonjin Boldog, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
In the morning we will drive to the Chinggis Khan Statue to see the museum inside and take photos in front of the Statue
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Famous for its Granite landform, Terelj has various tourist attractions such a the Ariyapal Monastery and the Turtle rock. After riding horses in the epic scenery of Terelj we will experience Mongolian nomadic lifestyle by visiting a local nomadic family.

Day 3: Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes and Karakorum

Stop At: Elsen Tasarkhai, Rashaant, Mongolia
After eating breakfast in Terelj, we will drive to Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes to ride camels.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Erdene Zuu Monastery, Kharkhorin 62090 Mongolia
After 1 hour of driving from the sand dunes we will arrive at Karakorum to visit the Erdenezuu monastery, the first buddhist monastery of Mongolia. Then we will drive to Taikhar Rock to set camp nearby.

Day 4: Taikhar Rock and Khorgo Volcano

Stop At: Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park, Khorgo Mongolia
After visiting Taikhar Rock in the morning we will then drive to an extinct volcano called Khorgo where will hike to explore the landscape. Then we will head out to the beautiful Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake to set camp and enjoy evening there.

Day 5: Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake and Khuvsgul

Stop At: Khovsgol Nuur, Mongolia
We will arrive at the town of Khuvsgul province, Murun in the afternoon to replenish our supplies. Then we will visit a Deer stone site near the town. After that we will arrive at the Khuvsgul lake before the evening and will set camp nearby.​

Day 6: Khovsgol

Stop At: Khovsgol Nuur, Mongolia
This day we will go boat cruising in the lake to visit the Wish island. Then we will ride horses around the lake to enjoy the scenery. We will go take photos of us riding a reindeer as well. Camp will be set nearby the lake.

Day 7: Nomadic Family in Bulgan Province

Stop At: Arbulgiin Davaa, Khishig-Ondor, Mongolia
In the morning we will head out to Bulgan province to visit a nomadic family to experience their way of living and culture. As dinner we will have real authentic Mongolian barbecue prepared by the family.
Duration: 15 hours

Day 8: Khustain Nuruu National Park

Stop At: Khustain Nuruu National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
This day we will drive back towards the capital city. We will have a lunch break on the way. We will arrive near the National Park Khustain Nuruu around the evening. Since wildlife watching is optimal at dawn, we will have a high chance of seeing the wild horses in the morning.

Day 9: Khustain Nuruu National Park and Ulaanbaatar

Stop At: Khustain Nuruu National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
After visiting the National Park Khustain nuruu at dawn we will drive back to the capital city Ulaanbaatar.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Ulaanbaatar Department Store, Peace Avenue-57 Sukhbaatar district, Ulaanbaatar 14250 Mongolia
This day we will accompany you with various activities such as shopping for gifts, souvenirs or cashmere or visiting other monumental places of the city. After dinner we will transport you to your hotel.

Day 10: Departure
