Itinerary
Day 1: Terelj National Park and Chinggis statue
Stop At: Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Drive to Terelj National Park. On the way we will stop for biggest statue of Chinggis Khaan. The NP is situated about 80km from UB city. Gorkhi-Terelj National park is considered one of the most beautiful worth visiting places for travelers who wanted to rest in surroundings near UB. At 1600m, the area is cool and the alpine scenery is magnificent and green meadows carpeted with Edelweiss and a dazzling variety of other wild flowers attract nature lovers. The park has many rock formations for rock climbers, and includes two famous formations named for things they resemble: Turtle Rock (Mongolian: Melkhii Khad) and the Old Man Reading a Book (Praying Lama Rock). You will ride horse for an hour.

Day 2: Kharhorin and Erdenezuu
Stop At: Erdene Zuu Monastery, Kharkhorin 62090 Mongolia
Kharkhorin is a small town in Uvurkhangai Province in Mongolia. The population of Kharkhorin town itself was 8,977 in 2003 and covered an area of 20.5 km2. Kharkhorin is located at the upper valley of the Orkhon River which is included within UNESCO's World Heritage Site Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape. Nearby there are the ruins of the ancient town of Karakorum (also known as Kharkhorum or Qara Qorum) which, for a short time, served as the capital of the Mongol Empire under Ogedei Khan. Once we reach there, we will visit the Erdenezuu monastery to discover tombs, a temple, and a real Buddhist temple. Once we get there, we will accommodate in a town ger hostel. After having dinner in a tourist camp, we will have a free time hiking or wandering around the town.

Day 3: Khustai National Park
Stop At: Khustain Nuruu National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
On the way to Ulaanbaatar, we will stopover at Khustai National Park which is known as being a home of Przewalski wild horses. Named as Takhi in Mongolian, those are the last and only breed of wild horses in the world. Since its re-introduction, today in the Park, there are some 300 wild horses. There are 46 mammals, 172 birds, 2 amphibians, 3 reptiles, 16 fish, and over 289 insect species have been recorded. We will see Takhi, the Asian wild horse. If you have a chance, see the wolf, argali sheep and deer.
