Hiking downhill from Krstac to Kotor

Hiking downhill from Krstac pass to the Kotor Old town. This trail dates since Roman time and it was old caravan path to the villages beyond hill.

Tour start from Kotor city where we take car transfer all way to the Krstac pass. This road is about 20 kilometers and it was old Austrian road which was connecting Kotor with rest of Montenegro and this road has 21 curve with amazing view on Kotor Bay.

After 40min of driving we get to starting position for walking. We take a break for taking photos of Boka Bay that looks like on a palm. Walking down the old serpentine which first part 1km is trough forest is very refreshing, and rest of the road is on open area with great panoramic view. After one hour we are getting to the local village Spiljari, where we can visit one family that still lives there and we can taste some local products. After short break we keep going to the Kotor fortress. In last 30 minutes walking you would enjoy in this amazing walls that protect Kotor for centuries.

Downhill hiking tour above Kotor bay goes from Krstac pass to the Old town. This trail dates since Roman time and it was caravan path to the villages beyond hill. Local people used to call it "path to the sky".

Tour start from Kotor city by car transfer all way to the Krstac pass. This road is about 20 kilometers with 25 curves and it was old Austrian road which was connecting Kotor with rest of Montenegro.
After 40min of driving you get to starting position. At first you would have chance to try zipline and it is 10 EUR per person. Walking starts down the old serpentine path which first part 1km goes trough the forest and it is very refreshing, but rest of the road is on open with great panoramic view. After 1.30h you would get to the local village Spiljari, where you can visit last family that still lives there and you can taste some local products like ham, cheese, juice or beer. After break you would get in to the Kotor fortress which was built from 9th to 19th century and now is UNESCO protected heritage. From top of the castle you would enjoy stunning view at Kotor city. After short break you would continue walk downstairs all way to the Old town Kotor where tour finish.
