This excursion offers visiting to two of Montenegro’s most famous old towns Kotor and Budva. You will experience old world Mediterranean Budva and enjoy protected history of the UNESCO heritage town of Kotor where you will have a city tour with some museums. In this excursion, you will also have a chance to see an interesting workshop of woven art as a part of traces of Ottomans in Balkans and Montenegro.

Stop At: Kotor Old City, Stari grad, Kotor, Kotor Municipality 85330 Montenegro

After meeting your licensed tour guide at the gate of port in Kotor, you will begin your magnificent journey in Montenegro by walking through to old town Kotor.You will enjoy walking through the maze of Kotor’s medieval quarter, its bustling market and among beautiful Renaissance buildings and narrow streets. The well-preserved fortified walls of Kotor protect it from the sea and at nearly 3 miles long it is considered one of the world’s historic values. Kotor is well protected heritage town by UNESCO.

Stop At: Monterug Oriental Woven Art, Radanovici b.b, Kotor, Kotor Municipality 85330 Montenegro

Then, you will continue into the Grbalj plain between Budva and Kotor, you will visit a workshop about kilims and carpets and experience a great presentation about all process of weaving a carpet with an artisan weaver including dying yarns and achieving silk threads from cocoon. Completed pieces of these work of art will be shown, and tasted some local Montenegrin beverages from house.

. Budva is one of the oldest settlements on the Balkan Peninsula. The old town of Budva lies on a little island that was linked to the land by a sandbar and in time turned into a peninsula. It is surrounded by ramparts originating from the XV century including a medieval fortification system with city gates, defense walls and towers. Inside the walls the town is a combination of narrow streets and little squares with valuable monuments of different Mediterranean cultures. You will have city tour and some free time in Budva.
