2 Days 1 Night Excursion 'ZAGORA desert'

The DRAA valley was born in the high ATLAS giving life to a spectacular oasis 190 km long. Starting from Marrakech, we begin an ascent of HAUT ATLAS, passing by the TICHKA pass located at 2260 m altitude, we enter the pre-Saharan region to reach OUARZAZATE. After lunch, a continuation to ZAGORA via AGDZ; we follow OUED DREAA and LES KSOURS, Dinner, lodging at the bivouac near the dunes. After breakfast, return to MARRAKECH via OUARZAZATE. (Half board) Camel ride.

Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech, Kasbah Ait-Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, Agdz Valley, Zagora

Stop At: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
one of the best preserved villages in the South of the country. Fortified, it was built by the tribe of Aït Aïssa in the 15th century for the merchants of caravans traveling from Timbuktu to Andalusia via Marrakech and other cities,

Stop At: Zagora Markets, N12, Zagora 47900 Morocco
You will make a trip of 1h camel to reach the bivouac where you will admire a beautiful sunset and spend the night under the clear sky and full of stars.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Accommodation included: Overnight in Berber tents will include a sumptuous dinner and a breakfast the next day

Day 2: Zagora, Drâa Valley, Ouarzazate, Marrakech

Stop At: Atlas Film Studio, Km 5, road of Marrakech BP 28, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
After breakfast, we will leave early by camel and travel around the area and we will join our vehicle. We will return to Marrakech by taking a road through the valley of Drâa, Ouarzazate and over the Atlas and we will stop regularly on the way to enjoy the highlights.
Visit movie studios and Kasbah if weather permits
