The regional park of Jbel Bouhachem - area of 75,000 ha in the region of Rif, with 41,000

is widely known as one of the major biological sites in Morocco. Two IUCN

members, the regional government of Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur (France) and the Water and

Forest Ministry (Morocco), are promoting a model of protected areas governance for Jbel

Bouhachem (Tanger-Tetouan region), driven by the process of decentralization

new Moroccan government and supported by the North-South cooperation links.

The fragility and remarkable natural and cultural resources

Bouhachem is a site of biological and ecological interests. It is one of the rare natural islands of Morocco where the ecological configuration is well preserved. It is considered the most beautiful forest of Morocco. Discover this natural richness and spend days with Rif's families.

Start the trek in Grankha. Have lunch in a remote village of Oulad Ben Blal in the middle of the Bouhachem natural park. Afternoon free in the village.

Day 2: Oulad Ben Blal - Houmar - Chefchaouen

Leave the village in the morning to Elhoumar village.

Stop At: Talassemtane National Park, Chefchaouen Morocco
at the foot of Mount Soukna. Have lunch, a delecious Moroccan dish with tagine or Couscous, prepared in a traditional way by

the houmar cottage owners.

Then you will visit the weaving woman's cooperative.
