3 Days Tour From Marrakech - Merzoga

A 3 day Tour from Marrakech to the Sahara and back

This short tour begins in Marrakech, and allows you to have a breathtaking expedition in the south of Morocco through the Mountains of high Atlas with its berber villages , Kasbahs, Gorge, Canyon, Palm Groves and Sahara desert (Erg Chebbi dunes) with its oasis.

Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi N’tichka Pass – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Stop At: Tizi n Tichka, Imlil Village, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
Today, we pick you up from your Hotel in Marrakech, and departure to Ait Benhaddou over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant.

In the Afternoon we will drive to Ouarzazate. Here you will get to visit one of the top Hollywood cinema studios and learn a few interesting facts. We carry on later into the city center for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt. After that you will head to your riad for the night. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)

Stop At: Erg Chebbi Dunes, Morocco
This morning after breakfast in the hotel, we begin our drive towards Merzouga and the desert of the Sahara. We stop to see the Kasbah of Imedril before carrying on to the edge of the desert. After lunch, you will ride your camels to your accommodation for the night on the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight in Bouviacs.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – N’kob – Kasbah of Tamnaugalt – Agdz - Ouarzazate

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. Later on, we will drive back to Marrakech, via Rissani.

We continue to the red city of Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Arrival to Marrakech and Drop off in your accomodation.
