3 day Morocco desert tour from Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara desert
After breakfast in your riad, you will leave Fes travelling towards Ifran, a beautiful mountains village, referred to as "the Switzerland of Morocco" and then on to Midelt. During this journey, you'll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest - the largest in Morocco - where you may well sight Barbary apes. After sometime within the forest, your journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas, after Midelt town you will be traveling through the fascinating Tizi Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, you'll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia,. Afterward, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani.
Itinerary
Day 1: Fes Midelt Erfoud Merzouga
Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
Our private tour begins with a drive towards the Atlas Mountains stopping to visit the village Ifrane, where well get a chance to explore the famous cedar forest, home to the Berber apes. Well then continue through the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the Ziz Gorge (here we can stop for pictures and some local mint tea) to Midelt.
Our drive proceeds across the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani; an oasis. Once we arrive at the Erg Chebbi desert dunes, well trade in the 4x4 for camels (optional) and ride towards our desert camp. Upon arrival there well be served a complimentary traditional dinner, and enjoy some music around a campfire under the star and moonlit desert sky.

Day 2: Merzouga desert Todra Gorge Dades Gorge
Stop At: Dades Gorge, Ifrane Atlas Saghir 45150 Morocco
Well fetch an early start to catch the sunrise in the Merzouga desert, and then return on camelback to the village. From there, well leave to to Tinghir, to reach the Todra Gorge, which is the highest, narrowest gorge in Morocco. Here we may stop to hike within the valley, and after lunch in the gorge we will continue on to the Dades Gorge, where well enjoy sand castles and also geological features called monkey toes/feet. Well spend the night in the Dades Gorge, at a local hotel which will include a complimentary dinner and breakfast.

Day 3: Dades Gorge Ouarzazatte Ait Ben Haddou Marrakesh
Stop At: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
After breakfast well drive towards Ouarzazatte passing through the route of a thousand Kasbahs (fortress). Well stop at Kalaat Mgouna, which is the center of The Valley of Roses, here well stop for a stretch and lunch at a local restaurant. Then, well continue our private tour stopping at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. We cross Tizi-n-Tichka pass of the High Atlas mountains before ending our tour in Marrakesh
