Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat - Fes
Stop At: Medina of Fez, Fes 30000 Morocco
We will depart this morning from Casablanca at 8:00 AM in the morning and start driving to Rabat. Stop to explore the most important monuments in the Capital of Morocco. We continuous driving Fes and you will start the day by exploring the Medina. Where the old medina offers a step back in time. A well preserved medieval city of donkey-wide alley ways and souks, the medina is encircled by an unbroken line of ramparts and gates. Visit La Mederssa Attarine, Nejjarine fountain, and the mosques of El Karaouyine, Medersa Bou Inania, and Baba Jloud.You will have private room, with private bath, hot water, in an authentic Riad in the Old Medina.

Fez is Morocco's spiritual and intellectual capital and has the largest old Medina in the world. The city's numerous monuments have thousands of stories to tell visitors, the Jemaa Karaouyine (the first university to be established in the world), The Mederssa Bounania, the tanneries and artisan quarters and the fascinating souks are just some of the many places to see. You will spend tonight in Fez in an authentic Riad.

Day 2: Fes
Stop At: Fes, Fes, Fes-Boulemane Region
More than just a hat with a twirly tassel, Fez is a jewel box of exotic delights on this best of Morocco tour. To unravel the intricacies of the nine thousand streets and alleyways of the UNESCO-protected Fez Medina would take a lifetime, but your Fez born-and-bred guide will reveal the citys most special parts, including the Fondouk Nejjarine, the tanneries and the various craft souks. Do you know why the bakery is also a de facto marriage bureau? Probably not, but your guide will explain why, and tell many other tales of this fascinating city. Some other sites of interest in Fez are the Kings Palace and Mellah/Jewish Quarter, the Pottery Complex, and the Batha Museum.

Day 3: Fes - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
Stop At: Erg Chebbi, Erg Chebbi, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
We leave for Midelt through the Mountains and the cedar forests of the middle Atlas. We pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft centre specialised in the work of cedar wood. We arrive in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud and into the desert. Fabulous dinner and overnight in the Nomad tent, night full of stars, Berber music. A night you will not forget.

Day 4: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate
Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Souss-Massa-Draa Region
Wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise, where the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. Arriving at the hotel/riad to have breakfast and a shower. We will continue to Ouarzazate and stop in Erfoud: famous for its fossilized marbles, where you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils. Continue to the Todra Gorges which is an ideal place for walking and exploring on your own. Have lunch then drive through the town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna. We continue through the Road of a Thousand-Kasbahs passing the Skoura palm grove until we arrive to Ouarzazate named "Hollywood of Morocco" because of the numerous film/tv shows that have been filmed here, including Gladiator, The Mummy and Game of Thrones and check into the hotel/riad.

Day 5: Ouarzazate - Aït Ben Haddou - Marrakech
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa-Draa Region
We head to Aït Benhaddou, a 'fortified city', situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. It is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After stopping for lunch we then continue to Marrakech over the high Atlas mountains.
