This week-long adventure takes you horse-riding through the stunning landscape of the Todra massif, trotting through palm groves and down sunlit canyons, and wild-camping when night falls.

Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to the High Atlas

Stop At: High Atlas Mountains, 40000 Morocco
After arriving in the country, you’ll be driven across the High Atlas, Morocco’s great range of mountains - a stunning expanse of towering, dry mountainsides overlooking green valleys and plateaus fed by streams and rivers. You’ll wind your way across this rugged landscape to the edge of the Todra massif, diving into the canyon carved out over thousands of years by the Todra River, until the rock faces draw together and rear into the sky, signalling your arrival at Todra Gorge, Morocco’s premier piece of natural rock architecture and a haven for modern rock climbers. We’ll spend the night here in a guesthouse, ready for our early start tomorrow.

Day 2: Day 2 - 5: To your Horses, please! 4-day horse-riding adventure.

Stop At: Gargantas del Todra, Tinghir, Tinerhir 45800 Morocco
After an early start, you’ll be introduced to your companions (two and four-legged) for the next four days, be trained in the basics of horseback trekking, and take to the saddle for the first time. For your first three nights you’ll be camping out under the stars to experience nature at its fullest - and on the fourth night, we’ll stay at our guesthouse in Todra. This horse-riding adventure will take you through amazing landscapes in a full immersion of Moroccan rural life and its people.

Day 6: Day 6: Discover magical Marrakech

Stop At: Jemaa el-Fnaa, 38 Jemaa el-Fna, Rue El Ksour, Marrakech Morocco
After an early transfer, you’ll arrive in Marrakesh, one of the liveliest cities in Northern Africa (and the world). Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Jemaa el-Fna square, an open-air market where you’ll find the best wares (and the best opportunities to haggle) in the city. Or take a Caleche (horse-drawn carriage) and explore further! At the end of the day you’ll meet everyone at the hotel (or riad) for the night, to swap stories and affirm new friendships.

Day 7: Day 7 - Time to go - Departure day

Stop At: Jemaa el-Fnaa, 38 Jemaa el-Fna, Rue El Ksour, Marrakech Morocco
Alas - the adventure ends today, and transfers to the airport will be arranged according to the time of your flight. If time allows, you may get a few more hours hunting down hidden treasures in Marrakech. Come back soon!
