Its medina (old town) is protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts called the Skala de la Kasbah, which were designed by European engineers. Old brass cannons line the walls, and there are ocean views. Strong "Alizée" trade winds make the city’s crescent beach popular for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Pass By: Medina of Essaouira, Beach Essaouira Beach, Essaouira 44000 Morocco

​Pickup from your accommodation, heading to Essaouira via Chichawa village, Sidi El Mokhtar, Argan forest where we can spot goats climbing Argan trees. We learn more about how Argan oil is extracted at a local ladies’ cooperative (Optional). Reaching essaouira, free time or (guided visit optional) visiting the city. There are many places to visit such as the fishing port of Essaouira, Skala Kasbah, which was a citadel in the times of war, the Medina of Essaouira which can be explored easily as the streets are aligned opposite to every other Medina streets in Morocco, which look like a maze, and Walk down the beach etc.. Getting back to Marrakech by early evening.
