Stop At: Kasbah du Toubkal، إمليل 42152, Morocco

You will be picked up from your riad in Marrakech in the morning. In front of us the mountain range of the High Atlas greets in its silhouette the most snow-capped peak of the highest peak, the Toubkal (4160 m high) is already clearly visible in Marrakech. The ride first goes through the wide basin of Marrakech, past Berber villages and orchards and olive groves. Increasingly, the road becomes narrower and steeper; the landscape and the vegetation change. Steep cliffs or sometimes green mountain slopes where goats and sheep graze. Pine forests, nut trees, wild rushing mountain streams, the reddish brown clay buildings of the Berbers determine the picturesque landscape and lead us to Imlil. On our route we put enough photo stops at the most beautiful places for you. The small Berber village, located on a steep mountain slope, where mainly apples and nuts are grown.
If you decide to take the approx. 2-hour morning walk into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains with a local guide, a fascinating experience awaits you. (Please specify at the time of booking whether you are riding the mule or prefer walking).
We are sure that Toubkal will leave a lasting impression, as for director Martin Scorsese, who shot scenes for his film "Kundun" from the rooftops of the Kasbah. In the evening you will arrive at your Riad in Marrakech.
