Our Adventure is led by a local Saharan guides, born and raised in the desert, who will show you the secret spots and hidden gems of the Sahara; nomadic farmlands, giant tamaris trees, dry rivers, stoney hamadas and ancient fossil grounds. You will visit local nomads and the largest desert Oasis, an important nomadic meeting point on the road to Timbuktu, where water flows all year round.

Our guides are veterans of the desert, who know the desert by heart. They will guide you, entertain you, and also prepare great food!

Discover the secrets of the Sahara with a local desert guide. Spend a day camel trekking dunes, lakes and stone desert. Camp in the wild, make sand-bread, eat and sing around an open campfire. The next day 4 x 4 on a desert safari, past nomads, Oasis and camel flocks, to watch sunset in the big dunes of Erg Chigaga.

Day 1
Arrive The Palm Grove eco-lodge, M'Hamid. Enjoy dinner.

Day 2
At 10am join your camel caravan. Trek through palm groves and the ancient Kasbahs of the road to Timbuktu . Lunch in the dunes in the shade of palm trees. Trek on to the Jackal dunes, to set up wild camp in small tents beneath the stars. Drink tea and make sand-bread. Dine around an open fire.

Day 3
After breakfast, decamp and take a short camel trek to join the piste and meet your 4 x 4 for Erg Chigaga, the largest dunes in Morocco. Cross amazing landscapes for lunch at the oasis with local nomads. Mid-afternoon arrive at your Bivouac, relax and enjoy the dunes. Take in the sunset at the great dunes before evening dinner around the camp-fire. Listen to traditional desert music under the star-studded sky.

Day 4
After breakfast, depart by 4 x 4, along another route to return to M’Hamid around 11am.
