Sahara Gate 2-Day Tour from Marrakech

The Skoura oasis consists of a group of small adobe villages and kasbahs connected by a patchwork of narrow paths and paths bordering the crops in the shade of numerous palm trees and fruit trees.

Day 01: Marrakech to Skoura Oasis: 

2 days Marrakech desert tour departure will start at Marrakesh toward the high Atlas Mountains, in order to discover the Glaoui Palace and Telouet Kasbah. Then, we will continue along the valley of Ounila, which is well-known for its salt mines, followed by the Kasbah of Tamdakht, which is located 7 Km away from the famous Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. We will explore the Unesco world heritage site, as well as the setting of many films since the 1960s. After that, an exploration walk to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou, followed by lunch in a local restaurant with a beautiful view.

We will continue the 2 days Marrakech desert tour to Ouarzazate passing the El Mansour Dam at Skoura. In the beginning of the valleys which are made of thousand kasbahs, you will spend an overnight at a local traditionally new built Kasbah in a beautiful Oasis. It is a magnificent place, if you came either in Spring or Summer, it will be the same enjoyable adventure, a calm and peaceful place which will warm your soul and heart, and you can hear the sound of birds singing at the sky.

Day 02: Skoura – Marrakech

We are going to go back to Ouarzazate, after taking breakfast. Alongside the road, we will pass through numerous ancient Kasbahs, badly devastated among the palm trees. When reaching Ouarzazate, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah and the Cinema Studio. After that, we will continue to reach Tizi-N-Tichka, in which we are going to have lunch in a clean restaurant. Before finally reaching Marrakesh, at the end of the afternoon of the 2 days Marrakech desert tour, we will be crossing many Berber villages in our ride, you will certainly enjoy the atmosphere, and the view of the curby road.
