Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier and Assilah

Stop At: Tangier Beach, Tangier Morocco
The tour starts with a drive from Tangier to Asilah, passing by several villages where you can see Bedouin people selling flowers, chickens, white cheese, and medicinal plants.

Arrive at Asilah, and start the walking tour into the old Medina - a place considered as a strategic point for the Romans who used to call it "Zilis".

See Portuguese fortification from the 15th century and Spanish gates from the 16th century.

On the way back to Tangier, admire the Rif Mountain (the smallest chain in Morocco).

The visit to Tangier includes sightseeing the surrounding areas like Cap Spartel where you can admire the Atlantic Ocean meeting the Mediterranean sea.

On the way, also visit the Hercules caves (historic site) and stop at a place where you can take wonderful photos with the camels, if you wish to.

Break for refreshments at a Moroccan restaurant.

Finally, drive to the entrance of the Kasbah to start the walking tour inside the old Medina. Witness its 5 old squares, monuments and Souks (markets).

Day 2: Tetouan

Stop At: Medina of Tetouan, Tetouan Morocco
Start from Tangier with a drive through the sites where tribes live between the 2 cities. Once in Tetouan, start an unforgettable walking visit into the old townTetouan is one of the most interesting towns in the north of Morocco. It is surrounded by high mountains. At the foot of Djbel(mount) Dersa, dominating the vally of Oued Martil. Sultan Youssef Ibn Yakoub buit the first casba between 13th and 14th century. In 1400 Tetouan was destroyed by the Spanish.Since 1997 it was named as a World Heritage by the UNESCO.

During the walking visit inside the Medina,you will discover its 17 white mosques, its picturesque souks, its narrow streets crowned by arches and its small shops.
