Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech to the High Atlas to Kasbah Talouet to Kasbah Ait Benhadou to Ouarzazate

Stop At: Medina of Marrakesh, Derb Fhal Zefriti n06 Derb Fhal Zefriti, Marrakech 40000 Morocco
Tonight, we'll stay at the Gateway To The Sahara, Ouarzazarte in a riad or a comfortable hotel.

First though, you will need to be transferred from Marrakech.

We will pick you up from your hotel or riad and head out to the High Atlas Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2260m altitude. We'll break up your journey with a visit to the kasbah Telouet and then take the caravan tracks to the kasbah at Ait Benhaddou.

After an eventful day, you can relax for the night on the edge of the Sahara, ready to explore in the morning.

Day 2: Ourzazate to Dades Gorges to the Todgha Gorges to Merzouga

Stop At: Musee Theatre Memoire de Ouarzazate, 10 Route Nationale Skoura, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
After breakfast we'll take you out to see 'The Valley Of The Roses' with the winding River Dades running through the centre.

When we leave, we'll get some stunning views of the surrounding countryside as we travel on toward Tinghir and the Todgha valley. Make sure you keep an eye out for traditional Berber huts and villages!

Our next destination is the dramatic 300m Todgha Gorge, a popular, destination with rock climbers and occasionally even film-makers.

Afterward, we'll set off for the village of Merzouga where we'll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and a short rest.

From there, we're off into the desert! When we're ready, we'll ride our camels out into the dunes and catch the sunset before spending the night in a traditional nomad's tent. Your dinner is included.

Day 3: Merzouga to Rissani to Erfoud to Marrakech

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
Today, we'll get up early to watch the desert sunrise among the dunes and to get ready for the day ahead.

We'll trek back to the hotel with our camels and grab a shower before we continue on with our adventure.

We'll make a stop at Boumalne-Dades (via Rissani and Erfoud) where we'll see the workshops that make objects and decorations from fossilized marble.

Finally, we'll return to Marrakech where you can spend the night in your hotel or riad.
