Itinerary

This half-day excursion goes to Sidi Mbark, 35km south of Essaouira. We visit the waterfall and the marabout (tomb of a saint) right next door. There is a secluded bay lined with a large sand dune on one side and a rock formation on the other.

The small river brings water into the otherwise very dry region and it creates a play of colors of green, the gold of the desert sand and the blue of the Atlantic. Above is operated on landscaped terraces agriculture.
The marabout of Sidi Mbark (the saint who gave the village its name) rests above it and tells of another time.
The duration is about 1.5 hours (tour).
Afterwards we are invited to a traditional Berber family tea ceremony.

On the way, we can visit an argan cooperative on request, where we will be explained how this unique oil is produced worldwide and we can make a taste of it.
