Itinerary

Day 1: MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - DRAA VALLEY - MHAMID

Stop At: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
Early departure from your riad / hotel in Marrakech and travel the High Atlas Mountains by the Tichka Pass (2260 m) - the highest pass in Morocco offering spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and valleys with a winding road, beautiful landscapes with Berber colors and villages along the way.Visit several kasbahs along the way, including Tamnougalte and Ait Benhaddou. A 16th century UNESCO site, Ait Benhaddou is one of the best preserved and most spectacular kasbahs in Morocco. A site famous for Hollywood movies, Ait Benhaddou was used for the 2000 hit movie, Gladiator. The journey continues in the valley of the Draa River, lined with palm trees. Arrival in Zagora for a cup of Moroccan tea. Then continue to the door of the Sahara Desert, Mhamid. Dinner and overnight at Camp M'hamid.

Day 2: MHAMID - SACRED OASIS - CHEGAGA SAND DUNES

Stop At: Atmospher Erg Chigaga, M'Hamid El Ghizlane, M'Hamid Morocco
After your breakfast, you ride saddled camels and enter the Sahara Desert. A two-hour walk followed by a lunch break at M'hamid. Travel from M'hamid by 4x4 vehicle in the beautiful desert landscape with a break to savor a Berber Sahara tea in the sacred oasis. We reach the Chegaga sand dunes - the largest group of dunes in the region reaching a height of 300 m and a range of 40 km. Dinner with animation. Camp in nomad tents

Day 3: CHEGAGA DUNES OF SAND - FOUM ZGUID - TAZNAKHT - MARRAKECH

After sunrise over the sand dunes, breakfast is served, then departure in a 4 × 4 vehicle by the old Paris-Dakar road towards Foum Zguid, crossing Lake Iriqui. Lunch in the Berber village Taznakht. Arrival in Marrakech around 18:30.
