3 day desert trip to sahara merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech – Kasbah ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Valley

Departure from Marrakech early in the morning with professional driver/guide. We will cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and its beautiful greeny landsacpes enjoying the adobe villages settled in the foothills of the mountains, continue to reach the kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou, famous Ksar. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this fortified village is an exceptional testimony to the architecture of southern Morocco. In this villages many famous movies were shot like: Galdiator, mommy, lawence of arabia, heaven, alexender,…. Stop for Lunch in a restaurant on site and then visit thealley and the kasbah, after the visit we will continue our journey towards the rose valley and the city of Ouarzazate, where we will stop to visit another world heritage kasbah name kasbah taourirte and the cinema studios (optional) aftethat, we will continue driving through the skoura palm grove to reach the rose valley known by its annual festival of roses and th.en continue to reach Dades valley where we will spend the night in Hotel or Kasbah. Dinner and overnight

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga camel ride

Departure towards Tineghir, stop with panoramic sight on the palm grove of Tineghir. Incursion in the famous gorges of Todra, one of the most impressive curiosities of southern Morocco. Lunch. Continue to Erfoud then road in stony or sandy track to the place of bivouac, the dunes of Merzouga. Camel ride for a beautiful sunset over the golden dunes of erg chebbi and then continue to reach the desert camp; Nomad bivouac, night under comfortable tent (2 persons per tent, fully equipped with beds on feet, pillows, sheets and blankets, toilets in a common area)

Day 3: Merzouga sahara – Draa valley – High atlas mountains – Marrakech

Early wake up to witness the sunrise over the dunes and then ride camels back the hotel where you will meet your driver and start a new journey towards Marrakech, departure to Tazzarine through beautiful desert and mountainous landscapes, oases and kasbahs to Tansikht. Then we will go through the Drâa Valley to Agdez. We will cross earthen villages and green cultures going up to Ouarzazate. Lunch and return to Marrakech by road Tizi-n-Tichka
