Itinerary

Day 1: Windhoek city - Etosha National Park

Stop At: Etosha National Park, Etosha National Park, Oshikoto Region
Clients on this tour must be in Windhoek city the day before this day or an Early morning arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you will be picked up by our tour guide and proceed via the city Windhoek then you will exit the city travelling north passing towns along the B1 main road. You will stop in one of the towns for lunch and fuelling the vehicle.

En-route you will make a short stop at Lake Otjikoto, this lake is the smaller of only two permanent natural lakes in Namibia. It is a sinkhole lake that was created by a collapsing karst cave. The Lake is only 100 meters from the main road B1. The diameter of the lake is 102 meters (335 ft.), its depth is undetermined. After a short visit at the lake we continue on a good rood to Etosha National Park, you will begin with game viewing before reaching your accommodation inside the park.

Built into an old German Historic Fort built in 1897, Namutoni Resort is the perfect setting for a cultural adventure African savannah. It is located in the eastern part of the Etosha National Park in close proximity to the Fisher’s Pan – a hotspot for birders. The romantic fort overlooks the floodlit King Nehale Waterhole from which visitors can enjoy views of wildlife without leaving the camp.

Day 2: Etosha National Park

Stop At: Etosha National Park, Etosha National Park, Oshikoto Region
Today we will spend a full day in this world-class game park, visiting a number of waterholes to observe the wildlife. Etosha, translated, means ‘The place of dry water’ and here we get our first view of the magnificent pan. Okaukuejo Resort is most famous for its floodlit waterhole, where visitors can observe a variety of wildlife at close quarters – both during the day and at night. Lions, elephants, and black rhinos are all very common sightings.

Day 3: Etosha National Park - Windhoek city

Stop At: Okaukuejo waterhole, Etosha National Park Namibia
After an early morning game drive, we enjoy our breakfast before we exit the park on our way to Windhoek, we continue on a good road and we have time to stop in Okahandja town, home to Namibia’s largest woodcarving market. The stalls are operated on a co-operative basis by the local community and the market is a perfect place to do last minute shopping for truly Namibian souvenirs.

We aim to arrive back in the Capital in the mid-noon and you will be dropped off at the accommodation or to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your outbound flight.
