Itinerary

Day 1: 17 September 2019 - Milan Malpensa - Addis Ababa

Pass By: Namibia Craft Centre, 40 Tal St Old Breweries Complex, Windhoek Namibia
Meeting of Client Clients at Milan Malpensa International Airport for customs clearance. Departure of the Ethiopian Airlines flight at 9.15 pm for Addis Ababa, with a technical stop at Rome Fiumicino airport. Expected arrival in Addis Ababa for 6.40 am the following day.
Meals, overnight stay and entertainment on board the aircraft.

Day 2: 18 September 2019 - Addis Ababa - Windhoek

Pass By: Namibia Craft Centre, 40 Tal St Old Breweries Complex, Windhoek Namibia
Arrival in Addis Ababa and change of aircraft. Departure of Ethiopian Airlines flight at 08:35 with arrival at Windhoek Hosea Kutako international airport at 1:20 pm.
Handling of customs formalities and baggage collection. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day available for relaxation and / or individual activities.
Overnight in 4/5 * hotel in central Windhoek. Accommodation in a double room

Day 3: 19 September 2019 - Windhoek - Etosha Park (Start of Accompanied Tour)

Pass By: Okaukuejo waterhole, Etosha National Park Namibia
Departure in a northerly direction to the Etosha Park which will be accessed via the Andersson Gate. The Etosha Park, with its 22,900 square kilometers, is the largest park in Namibia, as well as one of the largest in Africa and is home to 114 species of mammals and 340 of birds. Numerous pools are located within the park, where animals come to drink, especially during the dry season, offering the traveler great photo opportunities. In the afternoon it will be possible to make a first game drive inside the Park independently or by participating in the activities organized by the camp.

Day 4: 20 September 2019 - Etosha Park

Pass By: Etosha Pan, Etosha National Park Namibia
Full day dedicated to game drives in Etosha Park.
Overnight at the Chalet in the Etosha Park, in a room with a view of the puddle.

Day 5: 21 September 2019 - Etosha Park - Etosha Heights Private Reserve

Pass By: Etosha Village, On C38 - 2km from Okaukuejo Gate, Okaukuejo, Namibia
After breakfast, departure for the wonderful Etosha Heights private reserve, bordering the Etosha Park. In the afternoon, the exciting experience of a game drive will be waiting for us on board of the Lodge's own vehicles.
Overnight in lodges of category 4/5 *.
Accommodation in a double room with full inclusive treatment.

Day 6: 22 September 2019 - Etosha Heights - Damaraland

Pass By: Kamanjab Stores (Sentra), C40, Kamanjab, Namibia
In the early part of the morning, we will go in search of the animals during the game drive on board of vehicles owned by the Lodge. After breakfast, the transfer will start in a southerly direction, passing through the town of Kamanjab. Stop along the way to visit a Himba village Today's destination, outside the usual mass tourism circuits, boasts amazing views interrupted only by the Huab River, which is dry for most of the year. We will be able to dedicate ourselves to various activities, including nature walks, game drives aboard the lodged vehicles owned by the Lodge, or simply relax, enjoying the hot thermal spring on site. Overnight in 4 * Lodge with accommodation in a double room.

Day 7: September 23, 2019 - Damaraland - Walvis Bay

Pass By: Namibian Dolphin Project, Walvis Bay, Namibia
Breakfast at the lodge. At the end, depart in a south-westerly direction to Walvis Bay.
Today we will cross a vast portion of the fascinating Damaraland region, known for its particular geological formations and enchanting landscapes. Arrival at destination in the afternoon. Rest of the day available to devote to relaxation and / or individual activities.
Overnight in 4 * Hotel in Walvis Bay.

Day 8: 24 September 2019 - Walvis Bay - Swakopmund

Pass By: Sandwich Harbour, Namibia
Breakfast at hotel. This day will be mainly dedicated to an exciting activity: during the morning, an exciting and adrenaline-filled 4x4 excursion will take us first near the Walvis Bay lagoon, populated by many pink flamingos, and then up to Sandwich Harbor, where you will enjoy of a unique spectacle from the top of a dune: the encounter between the desert and the Atlantic Ocean. In the afternoon, we will admire the surreal landscape created by the erosion of the Swakop River, known as the "Moon Landscape" and some specimens of some of the oldest plants on Earth that are found in the nearby Welvitschia Mirabilis plain.

Combo activity on a collective basis included.

Day 9:  25 September 2019 - Swakopmund - Sesriem

Pass By: Kuiseb Pass, C14 Road Namibia
Breakfast at the hotel, at the end departure to the south-east to reach the area of Sesriem, passing through the towns of Walvis Bay and Solitaire. Along the way we will cross the spectacular Gaub Pass and Kuiseb Pass and we will stop at Solitaire, a small and picturesque town famous for the best apple pie in Namibia. Arrival at destination in the afternoon. Overnight in Lodge 4 - 5 * in a double room.

Day 10: 26 September 2019 - Sesriem

Pass By: Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft Park Namibia
Packed breakfast and departure early in the morning to visit the Namib Naukluft Park, where we will spend the whole morning and a part of the afternoon dedicated to visiting a section of the Park, inside which is the Big Daddy, the dune plus high in the world. Countless photographic opportunities offered by the dunes of the Namib apricot desert (including the dune 45, the dune Elim, Big Mama and many others ..), from the Dead Vlei with its fossil acacia trees inside the pan of white sand surrounded by high orange dunes and the Sesriem Canyon located near the entrance of the Park.

Day 11: 27 September 2019 - Sesriem - Kanaan Nature Reserve

Pass By: Namib-Naukluft National Park, C27, Sesriem Namibia
Breakfast in the lodge, at the end departure in a southerly direction, towards one of the most beautiful areas of Namibia that will be reached along very scenic roads, including the scenic D707. Today's destination is within a 33,000 hectare nature reserve bordering the Namib Naukluft Park, between the enchanting dune belt to the west and the Tiras Mountains to the east. The reserve, in addition to being an authentic paradise for photographers, hosts a conservation and research project to protect the local fauna, which includes not only the large carnivores present in Namibia and within the reserve itself, but also smaller animals , constantly endangered by the human-animal conflict. Participation in some of the activities organized by the structure - including guided tours of the reserve at sunrise and / or sunset and the possibility of attending the meal of the cheetahs - will allow you to better enjoy a memorable experience.

Day 12: September 28, 2019 - Kanaan Nature Reserve - Fish River Canyon

Pass By: Fish River Canyon, Ais-Ais Namibia
Breakfast at the lodge, at the end transfer to the south towards the Fish River Canyon, the second largest Canyon in the world. Today's destination is located on the western side of the Canyon, on which stands a unique, spectacular structure, offering fantastic panoramic views and the chance to witness the sunrise over the Canyon.

Day 13: September 29, 2019 - Fish River Canyon

Pass By: Fish River Canyon, Ais-Ais Namibia
Lodge breakfast. During the day today we will go to the eastern side of the Fish River Canyon, where there are various panoramic views that can be reached from the Hobas access point, including the Main viewpoint and the magnificent Hikers Viewpoint. Overnight stay in a 4 * hotel or similar.

Day 14: 30 September 2019 - Fish River Canyon - Kalahari

Pass By: Keetmanshoop Museum, 7th Ave, Keetmanshoop Namibia
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the north towards the Kalahari desert, passing through the towns of Keetmanshoop and Mariental. Arrival at the destination in the early afternoon. Weather permitting, it will be possible to participate in activities organized by the Lodge, including the afternoon game drive in open vehicles, a great way to get acquainted with the Kalahari desert.
Overnight in Lodge 4 * or similar.

Day 15: 1 October 2019 - Kalahari - Windhoek

Pass By: Namibia Craft Centre, 40 Tal St Old Breweries Complex, Windhoek Namibia
Breakfast at the lodge, at the end, departure in a north-westerly direction to the capital Windhoek. Arrival in the early afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and end of the tour accompanied.
Rest of the day available for relaxation and / or individual activities.
Overnight in central 4/5 * hotel in the capital.

Day 16: 2 October 2019 - Windhoek - Addis Ababa - Rome Fiumicino

Pass By: National Museum of Namibia, Robert Mugabe Ave City Centre, Windhoek Namibia
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure for relaxation or individual activities. At about 11:00 am transfer to the international airport of Windhoek Hosea Kutako in time for boarding the Ethiopian Airlines flight at 2.30 pm with an expected arrival in Addis Ababa for 09.20 pm. Aircraft changeover and embarkation on the ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES flight at 11:15 pm with arrival in Rome Fiumicino for 04.45 am the following day.
