Our Tour takes us onto the harsh gravel plains of the Namib Desert and learn how Plants and animals have adapted to this hostile condition. how plants and animals survive of the moisture of the Fog, to formation of the Moonlandscape and how the age old Welwitschia Plants grow....
then past Dune 7 into Walvisbay to the wetland and onto the beautiful and stunning Sandwich Harbour dunes....

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Swakopmund, Swakopmund, Erongo Region

This half day tour takes you from Swakopmund to the Namib Desert gravel plains, where little Lichen fields are and on to the 400 million year old Moonlandscape....you feel as if you are on the Moon.... then on to the view the 1000 year Old Welwitschia Mirabilis plant that grows in this area. This plant has only 2 leaves and the leaves grow out of the stem, ravaged by wind the leaves tear... something truly unique

Stop At: Walvis Bay, Walvis Bay, Erongo Region

Our tour stops at the Walvisbay Lagune to view the thousands of Flamingos in the Wetlands and let the air out of the tyres to continue to Sandwich Harbour
