Annapurna base camp 9 Days Trek
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the Legendary and quite easy Trekking routes in Nepal. It is also the shortest trail compared to other high altitude treks in Nepal. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek attracts about 70 Percent of the total trekkers visiting Nepal.
The 7 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes you right into the heart of the Annapurna mountains and returns via a small circuit route that delivers fantastic mountain views of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri. You will get to learn about people of different ethnicity, especially the Gurung People. During Spring the trekkers are rewarded with the beautiful blossoms along with Dense forests of Rhododendron - The National Flower of Nepal.
During the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you will encounter high gushes of waterfalls. Orchids, The Machhapuchhre massif and the Kali Gandaki Gorge (The Deepest Gorge) will accompany you on the trek.
Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu arrival
Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The Langtang Ri Trekking & Expedition representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After your refreshment, you will be picked up from your hotel lobby and driven to our Thamel office where you will be formally introduced to your trekking guide. We will go through all your trek itinerary and arrangements with you to ensure every detail is in place. We will also ask to bring your passport, extra passport photographs and a copy of your travel insurance so that we can organize permits required for your trek in the Annapurna region.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m) overnight in hotel (960m)
Pass By: Pokhara Museum, Pokhara Nepal
Drive or fly to Pokhara. The flight is an optional extra for this itinerary. Pokhara is located about 200km west of Katmandu on the shores of the beautiful Lake Fewa. Pokhara is a mixture of restful and busy. It has the atmosphere of a relaxed resort town where visitors take it easy seeing the sights and resting before their Annapurna or Mustang trek and once again upon their return. But it is also a busy place with all these visitors arriving, leaving and exploring the lake and nearby sights of Pokhara. The option to drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara provides an opportunity to experience more of the real Nepal beyond the national parks and trekking trails. The scenery and people you will meet on the drive is also worth the experience.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1,940m)
Stop At: Old Gurung Museum, 5 Kaski, Ghandruk Nepal
We will drive straight to Nayapul from where we will start our first day of trek to Ghandruk. Our outward trekking trail will take us along the western side of the valley where we will ascend through beautiful Rhododendron forests and pass through many small and welcoming villages. We will be walking in mind pace, so make sure to take in the beautiful view and local culture on the way. As you start ascending towards Ghandruk you will see the spectacular view of Himalayan peaks that better and better throughout the journey. Some of the mountains that are the highlights of the day and also for most of the trek are Madi Himal (5,553m), the sacred Mount Machhapuchhre (6,997m) also known as Mount Fishtail and Annapurna III (7,555m). The trek for the day ends once we reach Ghandruk, where we will get the opportunity to view a fantastic sunset over the Annapurna Range.

Day 4: Ghandruk to Sinuwa (2,360)
Stop At: Sinuwa (upper Sinuwa), Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
After Breakfast, you will start your trek with the end day destination of Sinuwa. The second is definitely more challenging compared to the first day as there will be many uphill and downhill walk. We will pass through many small villages, rivers, and jungles. The walking hours for the day will be around 6/7 hours. This is a challenging day but the challenge will definitely be worth it as you will experience a great view of Annapurna and Fishtail mountains.

Day 5: Sinuwa to Deurali (3,230m)
Stop At: Deurali, Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
Breakfast and trek for 6 hours mostly on the forest of bamboo, rhododendron and oak forest with the pleasant view of the waterfall, temple, and cave.

Day 6: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)
Pass By: Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Pokhara 33700 Nepal
Above Deurali the valley widens and becomes less steep. After walking some stone staircase we reach the place where some people were killed by an avalanche a decade ago. We should not stop in this possible dangerous place for a long time. This place is warned of avalanche so continue trek ahead with aware until you get to a safe place. As you walk further, more beautiful White Mountains are seen and close. The trail turns to the left in the valley after Machhapuchhre Base Camp and it is pleasant to walk up to ABC though, the air is thinner now. You may feel at a high altitude now. It is recommended not to rush and walk gently. Now you can see the one of best 360˙degree Mountain View in the world from Base Camp. There are tremendous views of giant Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) 6997m and several other wonderful peaks.

Day 7: Annapurna Base Camp and descend back to Sinuwa (2,360m)
Stop At: Sinuwa (upper Sinuwa), Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
We start our trek early today to try and reach Annapurna Base Camp in time to see the best of the morning sunrise as it spreads its rays over the countless icy peaks and the valley that surrounds us. On the way to Annapurna Base Camp from Machhapuchhre Base Camp, the scrubby vegetation fades to just a little grass and lots of rock, snow, and ice depending upon the season. We are now in the very heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary as the valley widens under the grinding power of the glacier. The multi-summit mountain wall of Annapurna South (7,219m) to Annapurna I (8,091m) now towers in front of us. We stand in a snowy mountain caldren of unmatched natural beauty. Take your time to soak in the scenery and take lots and lots of photos. Your guide will point out the main mountain peaks and the routes brave climbers have followed to reach their summit. But eventually, we must depart and commence our return down the glacier valley. The descent will be much faster than our ascent and we will end the day at the village of Sinuwa not far from Chhomrong.

Day 8: Sinuwa Kyumi (1680m)5 hrs - drive to Pokhara (2hrs)
Pass By: Pothana View Point, Dhampus 33700, Nepal
In the morning after breakfast we will leave Tolka and walk down the crest of the main ridge heading south. We will pass through beautiful forests and carefully tended terraced farmlands as we briefly visit the villages of Pitam Deurali, Pothana and skirt the wonderful little village of Dhampus. These final ridges near Dhampus deliver the final spectacular Annapurna mountain views of the trek. We then descend steeply to the valley floor and the village of Kyumi where our transport will await us for the very short journey back to Pokhara and than evening flight to Kathmandu. End of Trek!

Day 9: Return drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1300m)
Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
After breakfast in the morning, you say goodbye to Pokhara and head back to bustling Kathmandu by road. You may also choose to fly back to Kathmandu as an optional extra to your itinerary. You will be delivered back to your Kathmandu hotel at the end of todays travels.
