Dudh Kunda trek is also one of the popular trekking destinations in Lower Solukhumbu district. This place is unexplored trekking area, now it is newly opened for the tourist. Dudhkunda literally means the lake of milk. Yes of course if you are there at the lake you will see the lake similar to the milk. This is also a holy place for both Buddhists and Hindus. It is believed that if someone takes a dip in this lake, one will fulfill the wishes.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at ktm and transfer to Hotel.

Stop At: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Today you will pick up by our Airport representative to Hotel. After arriving at hotel our tour guide will meet you and brief shortly for the next day.
Duration: 30 minutes

Accommodation included: Overnight at 3 star Hotel in kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive to Phaplu by private vehicle ( jeep)

Stop At: Solukhumbu Hotel, Dudhakunda 56000, Nepal
Today you will pick up by our guide from the hotel and drive to Phaplu. It takes about 8 to 9 hrs. drive by private jeep. Phaplu lies at an elevation of 2450m. from sea level.
Duration: 8 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight at Everest Lodge, Phaplu.

Day 3: Trek to Ringmu

Stop At: Solukhumbu, दूधकुण्ड मार्ग, Dudhakunda 56000, Nepal
Today after breakfast you will leave phaplu. Your porters will prepare the luggage and start trek to Ringmu on the way to Everest Base Camp. it takes about 5 hrs. walk.
Duration: 5 hours

Day 4: Trek to Sasarbeni

Stop At: Solukhumbu, दूधकुण्ड मार्ग, Dudhakunda 56000, Nepal
After breakfast you will start the trek to sasarbeni. Here you will get a very simple tea house, so you can have a dinner at the tea house and it will better to sleep in a tent.
Duration: 5 hours

Day 5: Trek to Dudhkunda

Stop At: Solukhumbu, दूधकुण्ड मार्ग, Dudhakunda 56000, Nepal
Today you will explore the holy lake Dudhkunda, which literally means the milky lake. After exploring the holy lake you will back to the same place where you spent before.
Duration: 6 hours

Day 6: Trek back to Sasarbeni to Junbesin

Stop At: Solukhumbu, दूधकुण्ड मार्ग, Dudhakunda 56000, Nepal
Now today you will descent down to Junbesi. Which is popular for the monastery and stupas, here you can also visit small health clinic at junbesi. It is a big sherpa settlement at solukhumbu.

Duration: 5 hours

Day 7: Trek to Phaplu

Stop At: Solukhumbu, दूधकुण्ड मार्ग, Dudhakunda 56000, Nepal
Now you are almost finish your tour to the holy lake Dudh Kunda. After breakfast without any hustle & bustle you will get at Phaplu. Where you already spent overnight before you start the trek.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Stop At: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Now finally you had done all the trek and drive back to kathmandu, by crossing pattale the highest pass in solukhumbu, you will drive through the neighbour district Okhaldhunga, Gurmi and finally you will arrive at kathmandu.
Duration: 8 hours

Day 9: Sight seeing of Kathmandu the world heritage sites.

Stop At: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Today you will pick up by our city guide and drive to the World Heritage site of kathmandu. You will visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 10: Final departure from Kathmandu.
