Kailash Mansarovar is one of the most popular Hindu pilgrimage sites in the Himalayan region dedicated to Lord Shiva. Mount Kailash, believed to have formed 30 million years ago when the Himalayas were in their early stage of formation, is one of the most revered places in the Himalayas.It is also the holiest pilgrimage areas to devotees of Jainism, Buddhism, Bonism and many other faiths. Each year thousands of devotees undertake the treacherous and rigorous journey through the mountains and plains of Nepal and China (Tibet) to reach this sacred land.Spread out on the Tibetan plateau beside Mount Kailash is the giant lake of shifting colors Lake Mansarovar.
Mt. Kailash, with a 6740 m height, is situated to the north of the Himalayan barrier, wholly within Tibet. It is the perfect mountain with incredible beauty, with four great faces.
• Day 1 : Arrive Kathmandu:We will receive you at the Airport and transfer you to your accommodation at Thamel Eco Resort
• Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing:Historic temple and city tour-:Pashupatinath,Boudhanath, Patan Durbar Square etc.
• Day 3 : Lhasa arrival:Fly to Lhasa and take you to the Hotel. sightseeing few of the place in Lhasa which includes Bharkhor and Jokhang Temple.
• Day 4 : Acclimatize and Explore Lhasa:Flying to an elevation of 3400 from 1300,humanbody requires time to acclamation. This day will be spent explore more of the Tibetan kingdom.
• Day 5 : Lhasa to Shigatse: Drive to Shigatse which is the 2nd largest city of Tibet. Built in 1447 by the first Dalailama the Tashillunpo Monastery in Shigatse is a very important monastery as it is known as seat of the Panchan Lama
• Day 6 : Shigatse to Saga:drive to Saga, another long day of driving. Enjoy Tibetan landscape, passing through small villages
• Day 7 : Saga to MANSAROVAR:Continue the drive to Mansarovar (4750m ),driving through Mayumla pass 5100m. Enjoy the vast Tibetan plateau, where the landscape changes from sandy dunes to rocky vistas, to savannah.
• Day 8 : Rest day in Manasarovar, Havan Puja and Hike around: Havan worship/rest/acclimatisation at Lake Manasarovar. Experience being in the abode of God, it is a lifetime achievement: puja, havan worship, meditation, Holy bath, tarpan etc
• Day 9 : Manasarovar to Derapuk via Darchen:Drive Darchen 45 km and then to Tarboche (7 km) and trek to Derapuk (12 km) First day of Parikrama. Trekking time: 6 to 7 hours, and a drive of about 13 km. to Tarboche
• Day 10 : Derapuk to Zuthulpuk: Second day of the Parikrama we trek 15 km from Diraphuk to Dolma La Pass (5650m / 18,532ft) to Zhutulpuk Valley (4760m / 15,613ft). Trekking time: 9 to 10 hours.
• Day 11 : Zuthulpuk to Saga: Trek for 6 KM and then drive to Darchen for Lunch and drive to Saga.
• Day 12 : Saga to Sighatse: Drive to Shigatse via Lhatse. This will be a long day drive, so make sure you have enough snacks.
• Day 13 : Sighatse to Lhasa:Morning after breakfast we drive back to Lhasa.
• Day 14 : Lhasa to Kathmandu:Morning departure from Lhasa to Kathmandu. You will be received at the airport, afternoon free for shopping, evening we will take you for culture show and dinner.
• Day 15 : Departure Kathmandu:After breakfast we will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for final Departure
