Mardi Himal Trek is the fastest circuit trekking trail to reach the Base of Himalayas from Pokhara, at an altitude over 4200 mtrs.One can view many peaks with Annapurna I (10th tallest in the world), Ghandruk Village, most of the areas of Poonhill & Annapurna Base Camp trek from a close distance through this trek.On the 3rd day, you’ll cross tree line & will be trekking on the ridge of mountain with overlooking views of ocean of clouds, valleys & green forest on 2 sides of rigde along with front facing Panorama of Himalayas, most of which towering over 7,000 mtrs.(Plz see my photos)
Every day our lodging & fooding will be in the lodges available on the way.Lodges have fire in dining hall.
I’ve scheduled some fixed departures for this trek of 5 days from Pokhara on:
3rd Oct, 3rd Nov, 10th Nov, 17th Nov, Dec 1, Dec 8 2019. Pls contact me if your dates are different.I’ll try to fix.
USD 25 is the advance payment for trek confirmation per group.Remaining amount can be paid to me in Nepal.

Itinerary

Day 1: Pokhara- Phedi- Pitam Deurali

Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
-Drive from Pokhara to Phedi after breakfast (50 mins approx.)
-Trek from Phedi (1175 mtrs) to Dhampus to Pitam Deurali (5 hrs approx.)
-Lunch at Pothana
-Dinner and overnight at Pitam Deurali (2140 mtrs)
Duration: 6 hours

Stop At: Dhampus, Dhampus, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
Dhampus is a naturally beautiful village locally inhabited by Gurung caste (Mongolian tribe) and Bhramin caste (Aryan Tribe) people. The consists of traditional structured houses, traditional Nepalese culture, farm terraces, traditional agriculture features, green forest areas, overlooking view of Pokhara Valley and Panoramic view of Annapurna Himalayas.
Duration: 2 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight at Nice View Guest House in Pitam Deurali

Day 2: Pitam Deurali- Low Camp

Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
- Breakfast at 8:00 am
- Trek to Low Camp (2970 mtrs) after breakfast (7 hrs approx)
- Lunch at Forest Camp
- Dinner and overnight at Low Camp
Duration: 7 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Dinner
Accommodation included: Overnight in Low Camp Guest House at Low Camp, lodge with fire in dining, electricity available in this lodge.

Day 3: Low Camp- Badal Danda-High Camp

Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
-Breakfast at 8:00 am
-Trek to High Camp (3550 mtrs/ 3 hrs)
-Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at High Camp)
** High Camp is the location in Mardi Himal trek where the final accommodation is available. Few tea shops are available further during the morning but no lodging and proper foodings are available.
Duration: 3 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Dinner
Accommodation included: Overnight in Double View Guest House, High Camp; lodge with fire in dining; I can personally manage battery charging

Day 4: High Camp- Mardi Base Camp- Low Camp

Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
-Tea/Coffee at 4:30 am
- Carry packed breakfast and hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4210 mtrs/ 4 hrs with breakfast and tea breaks)
** You will find the height of Base Camp as 4500 mtrs almost in 99%+ data which used to be correct some years before. Now Base Camp has been shifted down to the elevation approximately 4210 mtrs as per the measurements shown by my and some other altitude devices.
-Hike back to High Camp (2 hrs)
-Lunch at High Camp
-Trek back to Low Camp (2 hrs 15 mins)
-Dinner and Overnight at Low Camp

Duration: 11 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight in Low Camp Guest House, Low Camp

Day 5: Low Camp- Siding- Pokhara

Stop At: Annapurna Mountain Range, 33500 Nepal
-Breakfast at 8:00 am
-Trek down to Sidhing (1900 mtrs) after Breakfast (3 hrs)
-Lunch at Sidhing
-Trek down to Lumre (2.5 hrs/ 1190 mtrs)
- Drive to Pokhara (1 hr 45 mins)
Duration: 8 hours

• Lunch

Day 6: Regarding Payments

Pass By: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
