Start by driving to the southern part of town by taxi with the guide. Later stop for a coffee at the famous Karma Coffee, before getting a short briefing and checking out the gear to see if it fits your riding. Ride out urban backtrails to avoid traffic to hit the main trails outside the ring road. Upon reaching Bungamati, tour the town a bit (its famous for woodcraft) and then continue on to the singletracks behind Khokana. Eventually, head back with an uphill to reach Bhaisepati and come back to Karma Coffee to end the ride.

Discover the south of the valley on your own power, guided by 'interesting' locals! Tailor between novice to expert routes. Drive about 30 minutes to Patan where your cycles will be readied. Ride about for another 30 minutes and you will reach the trail.
