Nepal - A step back in time Mustang

Join us in Nepal for an uplifting experience like no other.

We take you into ancient Buddhist villages and you see firsthand the simplistic life of Nepal. Step back in time and witness the diverse scenery and surrounds without modern day distractions. Challenge yourself on our beginners trek, meet new people and cultures, learn about the Nepalese lifestyle and traditions and most of all walk the ancient Hindu pilgrimage trail to Muktinath, where you can bathe if your brave in the 108 fountains of Shiva and say a prayer in the temple.

We also treat you to an authentic home visit with our family, where you can really get a glimpse into Nepalese life.

My husband Govin and I will take you on this personal journey, like our name suggests reconnecting you with you. Be part of our small group journey, a trip of a lifetime you’ll never forget. Price does not Include Airfares, however we can assist with that. Price includes all meals and transport as per the itinerary.

Day 1: 

ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU.

Free time to sight see around Thamel at your leisure, we arrange everything for you based on what you want to see and the time you have available. 

Day 2:

Take Bus to Pokhara leaving 7.30am

Day 3:

Leave Pokhara by Jeep at 6.30am-7am travelling mostly off road 10 hours to Jomsom. 

Day 4:

Wake up to the most amazing views in Jomsom, easy first day of trekking along the river to Kagbeni, find you own pace, meditate as you walk through the vast valley and take in the first Glimpses of the Annapurnas. 

Day 5:

Early start – 8am walk to Muktinath. Breakfast will be ordered the night before and taken around 7am. The path follows the footsteps of millions of Hindu pilgrims over thousands of years. Mustang is a unique place and truly feels like you are on Mars at times. Expect to walk for at least 5 hours, and take your time.

Day 6:

After breakfast, please order the night before to be ready for 7.30am to leave the guesthouse by 8am. Downhill walk today cross country in bits for at least 5 hours stopping in local tea house for some lunch and then onto Jomsom for Dinner. 

Day 7:

Leave Jomsom around 8am grab a cappuccino if you like before we go. As we head to the gorgeous village of Marpha.

Day 8:

Marpha to Kalopani leaving around 7am

Today is the longest day enjoy the downhill trek through more unique villages, swing bridges and watch the landscape change rapidly. Approx. 7 hours walk, stopping along the way at tea houses.

Day 9:

Today we take the Jeep down the last leg from Kalopani to Pokhara

Leaving just after breakfast taking approx. 6-7hours. We will stop at the hot springs in Tatopani if everyone wants a quick dip, and grab some tea and snacks

Day 10:

Start your day with a jeep ride up to Sarangkhot giving you amazing views of the mountains from afar and Pokhara valley and then step off the edge of the mountain and Paraglide your way down to the Fewa Lake.

Enjoying nice relaxing afternoon massage at Ayurvedic Health home, MEALS NOT INCLUDED.

Day 11: Officially Last Day of Tour ; Usually a boatride on Fewa Taal and a bit of impromptu local fun.

Day 12:Head to Kathmandu or stay on POkhara
