Our nine days Nepal and Bhutan tour explains the major attractions of Bhutan and Nepal. The price quoted here is on per day basis per person. Booking this trip only confirms the trip but the full payment has not been done yet. Travelers need to pay the remaining amount at our Kathmandu office before departure.

The accommodation provided is on twin sharing basis. Single supplement will cost an extra.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Pass By: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Travel Pinto representative will pick you up from the airport to your hotel. You will enjoy our welcome dinner at Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Day 3: Fly to Paro and city tour

Stop At: Paro, Paro, Paro District
Fly to paro and visit to Paro's attractions
Duration: 6 hours

Day 4: Hike to Taktsang Monastery then driver to Thimphu

Stop At: Thimphu, Thimphu, Thimphu District
After breakfast, we will hike for around 4 -5 hours to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, which is Bhutan's most famous monastery situated at 3,180 meters. Guru Rinpoche (spiritual master) is said to have flown on the back of a tigress to meditate in a cave where Taktsang Monastery now stands. The monastery is perched on the edge of a steep cliff, about 900 meters above Paro Valley. After having explored the monastery, we hike down to the valley floor and leave for Thimphu.

Day 5: sightseeing in Thimphu and Hike to Wangditse Gompa

Stop At: Wangditse Monastery, Bhutan
Visit to Wangditse Gompa and sightseeing in Thimphu.

Day 6: Thimphu to Punakha and Hike to Lungchutse Monastery

Stop At: Punakha, Punakha, Punakha District
We will drive from Thimphu to Punakha then Hike to Lungchutse Monastery and explore other attraction there.

Day 7: Drive Paro and Hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten

Stop At: Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, Punakha Bhutan
We will drive to Paro as well as hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten

Day 8: Fly to Kathmandu and attractions sightseeing

We will drive from Bhaktapur to Nagarkot for the sunset view. It around 35-60 min drive from Bhaktapur

Day 9: Sunrise view at Nagarkot and Departure to the airport or starting of next trip
