Pancha Pokhari Trek
One of the popular trekking destinations in the eastern part of Nepal. Panch Pokhari trek is through the untouched traditional village in stunning Himalayan Range and beautiful landscapes lie at the lap of Jugal Himal at an elevation of 4100m. This trek offers the mountains views, rich culture, adventure, biodiversity, natural beauty. The holy lakes to Buddhist and Hindu peoples. Furthermore, the trail is an attraction for the views of the birds and wild animals.
Panch Pokhari trek is the trek to five different small lakes. Each lake has different names derived from Lord Shiva. The Panch Pokhari trekking is a sacred pilgrimage trek often visited by many trekkers. Every year a large number of visitors from different countries come to visit especially on Janai Purnima to worship and take a bath in this lake. The trek offers eye-pleasing and heart-stopping dramatic views of the stunning mountain range and perfect natural surroundings with diverse customs.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m/4429 ft.)
Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Flying into Kathmandu is a memorable experience with the Himalaya spread out. Timepass is so quickly, enjoying the views of marvelous Himalayan ranges along with the world's highest peak Mount Everest while being on this flight. The flight will land at (TIA) Tribhuwan International Airport at 1350m after you will receive Nepal entry visa which can be obtained in advance or on entry and for the visa process at Kathmandu TIA, you will take around 45min, it depends on the number of people in a queue. For the Nepal entry visa information, have to visit this Nepal govt. official site Department of Immigration Nepal. After you will exit from the gate, where you will see our company representative waiting for you withholding placard written with the company name. Company representative welcomes you by offering the holy Tibetan scarf and transfer to the hotel in a private vehicle. It takes around 30min to reach at Thamel from TIA via means of transportation. The scenes of Pashupatinath(sacred Hindu temple), city, full of various vehicles, peoples make our journey more enjoyable and amazing, then we reach the hotel and take rest. Thamel is full of restaurants, shopping centers, and good accommodation. Trek briefing and afterward invited to a host family for welcome dinner.

Day 2: KTM Valley UNESCO Heritage sites Sightseeing Tours (1350m/4429 ft.)
Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
KTM Sightseeing tour will commence after breakfast on most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage sites; Swayambhu Stupa- an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley and popular with Monkey Temple, Boudha Stupa- the largest stupas in Nepal, Pashupatinath significant Shiva Temple & cremation center of KTM Valley. After the complete sightseeing tour, we return to the hotel & do preparation for the Himalayas trek.

Day 3: Scenic drive to Simpal (1813m/5948ft. ), 5hr drive
Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
After having breakfast in the hotel at Kathmandu, we will drive to the small village of Simpal relishing the countryside view throughout the ride. On our way to Simpal, we pass through Chautara, the headquarters of Sindhupalchowk district. As we drive further, alongside different rivers and streams, the settlement starts to get sparse and green hills to dominate the landscape. The drive to Simple is only going to add thrill to the already excited you.

Day 4: Trek to Kami Kharka (2810m/9220ft. ), 5-6hr walk
Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
The journey begins with a steady walk to Kami Kharka. The trek crosses through streams, terraced farmland, and mixed settlements. After reaching Sano Okhareni we will pass by pine forest and with great views to the mountains. We also encounter some wild animals like mountain deer, langur monkeys and various species of birds. Danphe. the national bird of Nepal is also found here. Crossing several smaller settlements on the way, we reach Kami Kharka.

Day 5: Trek to Pauwa Bas (3000m/9842ft. ), 5-6hr walk
Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
Trek to Pauwa Bas (3000m/9842ft. ), 5-6hr walk
Ascending the trek to Pauwa Bas through the flat land. The trail goes through tranquil forest wildlife spotting area. We will enter the forested path filled with rhododendron, oaks, pine, and juniper trees. After continuing to walk through the forested area, we will get the sight of nomad's houses for cattle on our way to Pauwa Bas. Walking through the silent and tranquil forest, we will arrive in Pauwa Bas. There is a shelter for pilgrims to Panch Pokhari.

Day 6: Trek to Hile Bhanjyang (3400m/11154ft. ), 6-7hr walk
Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
We leave Pauwa Bas ascending steep uphill to the top of the hill. Enjoying the views of greenery and hilly slopes we will start climbing dominated by rhododendron. From the top, we get to observe the amazing scenery of the untouched beauty of Himalayas. We take steep descend from the top through the forested area. It is a quiet walk through an uninhabited area. Relishing the amazing view of mountains on our way, we arrive in Hile Bhanjyang.

Day 7: Trek to Panch Pokhari (4100m/13451ft. ), 6-7hr walk
Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
We start to trek towards Panch Pokhari through the forested trail to Nasyampati from where we get an amazing mountain view. We then continue to climb up through rocky hills to finally arrive in Panch Pokhari. Panch Pokhari signifies the meaning of five lakes. The holy lakes of Panch Pokhari do not only serve as a pilgrimage site of the Hindu and Buddhist devotees but are equally beautiful scenically. We will see two pilgrim houses. The temple in Panch Pokhari is dedicated to Lord Shiva in Janai Purnima (festival). Small houses are built for the pilgrimage devotees.

Day 8: Trek to Tupi Danda (2320m/7611ft. ), 6-7hr walk
Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
Early in the morning, we will hike to the top of Panch Pokhari for the amazing view of nature and the spectacular sunrise over the mountain. Walking about 2hr to the top we will see the sun rising view over the Himalayas and the panoramic view of Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Gaurishankar (7134m), Jugal Himal Range, Ganesh Himal Range, Rolwaling Himal Range, and Langtang Himal Range. After spending some quality time, we return back to Panch Pokhari and head towards Tupi Danda through steep trails. After the great views we, we return back to Panch Pokhari and head towards Tupi Danda through steep trails along the rhododendron forest.

Day 9: Trek to Dhap (1200m/3937ft. ), 5-6hr walk
Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
We Tupi Danda we will trek down beautiful terraced hills and gorges down to reach the settlement of Tamang people, Dhap. Dhap is the wonderful Tamang settlement and youll get to relish in the unique Tamang culture and foods in Dhap. We will get an opportunity to explore the insight of culture, tradition, architecture, and customs.

Day 10: Trek to Melamchi (800m/2624ft. ), 4-5hr walk
Stop At: Melamchi Municipality Office, Melamchi, Nepal
Descending from Dhap we will cross by the side of Indrawati River through the terraced fields. We pass through stunning villages and also see a hydroelectricity project on the way to Tipini and our re-introduction to a road. Melamchi Pul Bazaar lies at the bank of Melamchi Khola (stream) and Indrawati River is comparatively a big town for this area. There are some lodges, tea shops, government offices, schools, colleges, post office, and army police camp. We will camp by the riverside and if you like you can refresh yourself with a dip in the river. Melamchi is quite a populated area and an open marketplace.

Day 11: Scenic drive to Kathmandu, 5-6hr drive

After having our breakfast in the hotel at Melamchi we will drive back to Kathmandu by bus. The drive with the views of streams, river, lush forest, and hilly settlements can be seen on the way. After reaching there our representative will transfer you to the hotel in a private vehicle. You can spend the rest of the by relaxing or shopping for gifts and souvenirs.
