Stop At: Phewa Tal (Fewa Lake), Pokhara Nepal

Phewa Lake Boating trip is the handiest refreshment in Pokhara, but it has certainly never overdone its charm and thus changed into a ubiquitous activity. The second biggest lake of Nepal, Fewa has a pagoda styled Talbarahi temple in its middle. Row close to this holy shrine of Hindus and view this beautiful piece of architecture. The lake also bears clear refection of Machhapuchhre peak and the Annapurna Range. So float over these mighty peaks, float as you on the lake!

Stop At: Barahi temple, Pokhara Nepal

Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple or Barahi Temple is a two-story pagoda temple located in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Zone in western Nepal. It is a hindu temple of the Goddess Durga (Barahi), the protector of gods. It is located in a small island on the south east section of Phewa Lake in Pokhara

Stop At: Devi's Fall, Siddhartha Highway, Pokhara 33700 Nepal

Devi’s Falls Also known as Patale Chhango, this waterfall marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. When the stream is at full bore after monsoon rains, the sound of the water plunging over the falls is deafening. The falls are about 2km southwest of the airport on the road to Butwal, just before the Tashi Ling Tibetan camp.
According to one of the many local legends, the name is a corruption of David’s Falls, a reference to a Swiss visitor who tumbled into the sinkhole and drowned, taking his girlfriend with him.

Stop At: Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Pokhara 33700, Nepal

Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. Across the road from Devi's Falls, this venerated cave contains a huge stalagmite worshipped as a Shiva lingam. The ticket allows you to clamber through a tunnel behind the shrine, emerging in a damp cavern adjacent to the thundering waters of Devi's Falls.

Stop At: World Peace Pagoda, Pamdi Bhambadi G.V, Pokhara 33700, Nepal

World Peace Pagoda is located outside the main compound, but easily accessible by bike, the impressive gleaming-white World Peace Pagoda, one of the world's greatest stupas, was constructed by Japanese Buddhists at a cost of US$1 million. The shining golden statue depicts the Buddha in the posture he assumed when he was born. Near the base of the stupa is the grave of a Japanese monk murdered by anti-Buddhist extremists during the construction of the monument.

Seti River Gorge The roaring Seti River passes right through Pokhara, but you won’t see it unless you go looking. The river has carved a deep, narrow chasm through the middle of town, turning the water milky white in the process. The best place to catch a glimpse of the Seti River is the park just north of Old Pokhara near the Gurkha Museum.

International Mountain Museum is expansive museum is devoted to the mountains of Nepal, the mountaineers who climbed them and the people who call them home. Inside, you can see original gear from many of the first Himalayan ascents, as well as displays on the history, culture, geology, and flora and fauna of the Himalaya.

Stop At: North East of Town Sarangkot, Pokhara 33411 Nepal

Sarangkot is easiest and shortest hiking hill from Pokhara. If you have additional day in Pokhara, Sarangkot half day hike from Pokhara will be perfect for you. The hill is the best for sunrise and mountain views. The view of the Annapurna Himalaya from Sarangkot is almost a religious experience.

From here, you can see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid of Machhapuchhare (6997m), the tent-like peak of Annapurna II (7937m) to Lamjung (6983m) in the east. Most people come here at dawn or dusk, when the sun picks out the peaks, transforming them from a purple-pink to a celestial gold.
