Stop At: North East of Town Sarangkot, Pokhara 33411 Nepal

Sarangkot is located west of Pokhara. The village on top of Sarangkot mountain is the place you should be going for, at an altitude of 1600m. It’s one of the best places in Nepal to see the sunsets surrounded by forests and hills, overlooking the Annapurna range. Sarangkot is especially famous for Sunrise, Sunset and Majestic mountain view including the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Fishtail (Machhapuchhre) Lamjung Himal, Manaslu and many more small peaks.

Stop At: World Peace Pagoda, Pamdi Bhambadi G.V, Pokhara 33700, Nepal

Completed in 1992, Shanti Stupa is the 71st World Peace Pagoda built by Nipponzan-Myohoji in the world. The pagoda is 115 feet tall and 344 feet in diameter. It took decades for the completion of the construction due to various obstructions by the local government. Hiking to World Peace Pagoda gives a real insight into how a Nepali trek looks like. It also trains you up for the long steep slopes of the more challenging Himalayas.

Stop At: Gupteshwor 45400, Nepal

Located close to Davis Falls on the other side of the road Gupteshwor Mahadev cave is Nepal’s most famous cave. It’s also rumored to be the longest cave in Nepal (2950 meters). Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is considered 600 years old. While the young local people went deeper, they found out that an idol-like object resembling Lord Shiva had formed naturally on the spot.

Marvelous Davids falls cascades down at the south side of the Phewa Lake in Pokhara. It is in the gorge of the Seti River. It is an area known for its beauty and tranquillity. The legend of Davids falls add a touch of mystery to this site. The mysterious facts of this waterfalls is the water of this fall comes from Phewa Lake. Which eventually rushes down the waterfall and disappears. It’s very interesting yet tragic how this waterfall got its name.

It contains information on the kind of people who live in the Himalayas. it also contains information about unique flora and fauna, the inception of mountaineering in the Himalayan ranges and its unique structure. It traces the cultural values of the mountain people and the geological mysteries buried underneath.
