Ruby valley trek (Ganesh Himal) is one of the best trekking in central Nepal on the hidden valley trail that encompasses Sing La pass (4050m), Pangsang pass (3850m), Kalo Kunda, Seto Kunda Mangni Pass, and interesting cultural heritage. The splendid view can be seen from this trekking. This 14 days trek involves no flight, the passes are not very difficult and the trekking region is relatively warmer. However, this trek offers an authentic experience of unspoiled Tamang and Gurung villages, beautiful farm terraces and splendid views of Ganesh Himal and other mountains of Annapurna, Langtang and Manaslu region passing through foothills and lowland farm terraces to ethnic Tamang villages on higher altitudes. The highest altitude on this trek is the Sing La pass at 4050m. This pass is also one finest viewpoint on the trek.

Itinerary

Day 1: International Arrival overnight in Hotel (1,300m)

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
A Lantang Ri Trekking & Expedition representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. When you are ready you will be collected from your hotel lobby and driven to our Thamel office where you will be formally introduced to your Trekking Guide. We will go through all your trek itinerary and arrangements with you an ensure every detail is in place. We will also ask for your passport photographs and any other details so that we can organize any permits required for your trek and the region you will be exploring.

Day 2: Trek preparation & Sightseeing in Kathmandu overnight in Hotel (1,300m)

Stop At: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
After breakfast, we start an interesting tour around Kathmandu. Escorting by an English speaking guide (can provide any language speaking guide on request) the tour will give you a taste of our vivid Nepali culture and history. In our sightseeing tour, we go to Monkey Temple Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Gatlang 3271m (9 hour driving) overnight in tent.

Pass By: Dhunche Heliport, Dhunche 45000, Nepal
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi to Ghatlang which takes about eight hours. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli river you catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills. As you pass through Dhunche you feel as if you are heading towards deep land. At the same time, you notice that the road is still under construction. You can see the scenery from the view point. The cultural show at Goljung and Gatlang makes your trekking a memorable one.

• Lunch: Food would be provided on the MAP basis that means breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with accommodation.
Accommodation included: You will be accommodated at local tea houses and will be served the facilities provided by local teahouses.
