Trekking Guide for Poonhill Trek

Its suitable for children, young trekkers, adults and old people too. Its considered as a trek with a difficulty range between easy and medium however young ones will mostly find it easy. It has enough places for foods and private accommodations. All lodges have electricity but not good wifi.

The trek boosts high natural, traditional and cultural variations with amazing landscapes.

Itinerary

We will leave for the trek from Pokhara at 8:00 am after breakfast. We have to drive to Nayapul (1 hr 45 mins drive from Pokhara), which is the starting and finishing point of Poonhill circuit trek. Each day we will have breakfast at around 7:00 am, start trekking before 8:00 am, have lunch at around 12:00 pm and reach overnight spot at around 3:00 pm. First 2 days will be totally uphill hike and rest of the days are mostly downhill hikes. Lodges will be available for good foods and accommodation on the route. Private accommodations, electricity and wifi are available all over the route. Wifi may not work well in all locations. Camping stuffs are not necessary. You will be eating wherever you stay but the room price and menu will be exactly same for all the lodges in a particular station for all lodges.

On the third day, we will hike to Poonhill for sunrise view starting before 1 hour of sunrise time.

The price mentioned is “per day per group” & just includes fee, food, insurance and accommodation for guide. For each extra day, $50 (taxes included) has to be added.
