This luxurious trip in Nepal will be of 10 days from your arrival to departure. You will be visiting 7 out of 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Nepal and also the favorite tourist destination favored by national and international people. You journey starts and ends in Kathmandu valley where you will be visiting two of the Durbar Squares namely Patan Durbar Square and Basantapur Durbar Square which is filled with architectural, religious and typical cultures showing Newari essence. You will also visit Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage sites which are Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath inside Kathmandu Valley and Lumbini (Birth place of Gautam Buddha) which is outside Kathmandu Valley. Finally, you will be up-close with nature inside Chitwan National Park in Chitwan.

Itinerary

Day 1: Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and drive to your Hotel

Pass By: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Let’s start your adventurous journey in Nepal. The moment you arrive in Nepal, our representatives will be there to receive you at the Tribhuvan International airport. After you have finished your custom check and other any necessary credentials check, you will ride with our representative in private vehicle and will be taken to your hotel which can be in the main tourist area in Thamel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Drive to Nagarkot

Stop At: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Today you will start your voyage after your breakfast and will visit three of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. They are Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. Patan Durbar Square is one of the royal squares (plaza/area opposite to royal palaces) situated in Lalitpur District. It is a placefor temples which displays the extraordinary Newari architectures that is arranged in visually astonishing show. The major temples are the Krishna temple, Bhimsen Temple and Taleju Bhawani Temple. There is also an accessible museum.

Stop At: Boudhanath Stupa, Boudh, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Then comes the holy and architectural religious sites that are important to us. The temple of Pashupatinath is a temple complex that covers a large area of 265 hectares with more than 500 temples and shrines. The temple of Pashupatinath was founded after the discovery of Shiva Lingam. The temple complex is situated at either sides of the Holy river Bagmati and you can also see the cremation ceremony being conducted on platforms created at the banks of river Bagmati. The architectural success is phenomenal around the area with remarkable structures and monuments of deity. Finally, to our last destination before heading to Nagarkot which is an important Buddhist shrine called Boudhanath. It is very large dome shaped stupa that is famous destination for tourists. As being one of the largest stupas in Nepal, it also symbolizes Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. Everysingle detail in the stupa has a deep meaning in them. You will be pacified by the scented incense and churning of prayer wheels.

Stop At: Nagarkot, Nagarkot, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
After this spiritual journey, you will be driven to Nagarkot where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset at the end of the day. Overnight at Mystic mountain or Club Himalayan.

Day 3: Sightseeing at Nagarkot and Drive to Pokhara

Stop At: Nagarkot View point tower, Nagarkot Nepal
Today you will wake up early morning, before the sunrise and head towards the view point in Nagarkot to glare upon the rising sun that went to sleep yesterday underneath the mountain. The panoramic view at the time of sunrise will be a very pleasant and heartfelt moment in your life as the colors start to change from orange to red and to orange hues. Not only the beauty of the sunrise but the visibility of Himalayan mountain range also in very majestic as you can see mountain ranges such as Mahalangur range, Annapurna range, Ganesh Himal range, Manaslu range and many more. The view below of Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri national park is also extraordinary.

Stop At: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
After further exploring Nagarkot, we will ride towards the Cherapunji of Nepal ‘Pokhara’. We stay overnight at Rupakot Resort or hotel of same type.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Pokhara

Stop At: Phewa Tal (Fewa Lake), Pokhara Nepal
Today we will be exploring the beautiful city of Pokhara. Our destinations in Pokhara will be the World Peace Pagoda, International Mountain Museum, Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Cave. These are some of the famed places in Pokhara. The World Peace Pagoda is wonderful Buddhist monument. There is need of walking to the top of Ananda hill. And after you reach there, you will be amazed by the views that you can observe there. You can see beautiful view of mountains and Phewa lake. Then comes the International Mountain Museum which is filled with information regarding mountains, its people and the adventurous task of mountaineering. You can see the exhibition of various famous mountains and their models, living museum, descriptions of famous mountaineers, flora and fauna there with cultures and lifestyles of the mountain people preserved.
Our next destination is the Davis Falls, a waterfall that is popular as it is named after a tourist who had an accident and lost her life there. Also called ‘PataleChango’ which translates to underworld waterfall is because the waterfall disappears underground but you will be able to hear the water hitting the bottom of the fall. Finally, the Gupteshwor cave is the milestone for today. The Gupteshwor cave is not filled with mystery but has religious value too. The water from Davis Falls flows through the cave and be sure to carry a torch with you, just in case. If some time remains, you can enjoy your time exploring near Phewa Lake and enjoying freshness near the water. Overnight at Temple Tree Resort or hotel of same type.

Day 5: Drive to Lumbini and sightseeing

Stop At: Lumbini Monastic Site, Taulihawa Road, Lumbini 32914 Nepal
The next day you will be visiting the land where Buddha was born, Lumbini. It will be 6/7 hours of drive. After reaching Lumbini the major place to visit are Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar and Buddhamaya Garden (Sacred Garden) and also many monasteries are located in the region. As time will not favor us, you will be visiting many locations of Lumbini the very next day before your travel begins again. But important places such as Maya Devi Temple, Puskerni Pond and Ashoka Pillar will be the priority for today. Overnight stay at Buddha Maya Hotel or similar.

Day 6: More sightseeing and drive to Chitwan

Stop At: Lumbini Monastic Site, Taulihawa Road, Lumbini 32914 Nepal
The remaining attraction of Lumbini will be explored today before you head towards Chitwan. Various monasteries are located near the region built by many organization and countries. You will explore Royal Thai Monastery, Myanmar Monastery and Thrangu Monastery (and more if time is in your side). After that we will head towards Chitwan and stay overnight at Jungle Villa Resort or hotel of similar category.

Day 7: Exploring Chitwan

Stop At: Chitwan National Park, Chitwan National Park, Chitwan District, Narayani Zone, Central Region
This day you will be exploring local outskirts of Chitwan and Chitwan National Park. The national park is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It has vast area filled with natural beauty. The distribution of flora and fauna is very well. Endangered species like one horned rhino is found here. Just a glimpse of such creature is blessing but you can also see them wandering around the area where people stay. And feel safe as they won’t attack you without any reason as they are calm species. There are other species that you want to see such as crocodiles, leopards, and many species of deer. You can see tamed elephants in shades created for them. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu and Visit Monkey Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square

Stop At: Swayambhunath, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal
This day you will be driving back to Kathmandu. The ride is scenic and pleasant. After reaching Kathmandu, you will be taken to the ‘Monkey Temple’ called Swayambhunath. It is the second important Buddhist pilgrimage place and is also listed as UNESCO World Heritage site. Swayambhunath is not only important to Buddhist but also all religion of Nepal. In the main entrance, the staircase is steep and on reaching the top, you can see a large thunderbolt scepter and a big white dome structure surrounded by prayer wheels. It also has many temples and local shops surrounding the area. After exploring Swayambhunath, we will head to the last destination which is the royal square of Kathmandu known as Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur Durbar Square). Although it has taken damage from the earthquake of 2015, the place is still lively. The major spot to visit are the local areas there and the ‘Kumari Ghar’ where the living goddesses Kumari resides. Also, many monuments and temples are there packed with history like Kal Bhairav and Maru Temple. Overnight at Hotel .

Day 9: Shopping (or extra mountain flight).

This is the final day of this amazing four day with us around Kathmandu valley. Today you are free to explore the local markets and the market area near Thamel for shopping or to stretch your legs and visit the local places around on your own. You can go by various corners and ‘Chowks’ to see the small temples around there and be familiar with local cultures and daily events. Also, if luck favors and you are here at the time of local festivities and Jatras, feel in ease to participate in it.
