As rum enthousiast, Ruben Maduro saw that most rums are produced with artificial flavours and added sugar instead of using fresh herbs and spices. This is why he had the mission to introduce a new kind of rum!

This became Spirited Union Distillery. Here, he shows that rum can also be infused with natural botanicals to create a new, interesting flavour pattern.

In his distillery in Amsterdam you can see with your own eyes how this is done with a full tour or different workshops. But most important: here you can taste the difference in cocktails and rum tastings.

Tour

While entering the production area we will talk about the history of Rum, different Rum styles and their production methods and introduce you to Paco, our copper beauty.

Tasting

After seeing our production facility, it is time for you to have a taste. In our botanical flavour lab we will give you a guided tasting of our products and you might even catch a glimpse of one of our limited distillery editions.. Did you know we also offer extended tasting sessions for only a fiver extra..
